You need to get your facts straight. Belfry scored first, after a bad punt snap gave them the ball at the 2 yard line. Pikeville takes the next drive down to the one yard line where QB fumbles. Pikeville D holds, returns punt for a touchdown for a 7-6 Pikeville lead. Stays this way until two minutes left in the second Quarter when Belfry scores and goes into halftime up 14-7. Belfry did wear them out in the fourth quarter, but your facts as stated above not a bit correct, I have watched the film at least 10 times over the last three weeks.

Actually it was 7-6 Pikeville till about midway through the 2nd quarter when Pikevilles QB fumbled the snap from the 1 yd line going into the endzone and Belfry recovered and the wheels came off from there.

I can't wait to see this game! This will be a very good matchup against two great running teams! Good luck to both teams and hope it is an injury free game.

I'll take ya'lls word for it, maybe I was wrong.

But in all honesty, I don't remember anyone being "in control" of the game until Belfry led by two touchdowns. Maybe thats where I got confused.

Actually youre quote was "Pikeville never had the lead at all". Nobody refuted the fact that Belfry was ahead at the half.

I feel Belfry will win this game.. 28-13, Dustin May will be the difference. Belfry has a very good run defense, ask Vicars from NCC, someone the Panthers couldn't stop last year. I will eat crow all week if Belfry can't run on Pikeville, thats nonsense.

I have a feeling that when this game is over tonight, you will be on here making excuses for your Panthers. So what I had a typo, no big deal.. When Belfry runs through Pikeville tonight don't get on here crying about it.

Belfry will win this game because they are Belfry ! Pikeville football lives in the past ,it is not the same program that it once was,and is no longer a state power.Belfry is the here and now.Belfry is the new beast from the mountains!!!!!!!!!! As for Pikeville being able to stop the Belfry rushing attack,not a chance!!!! I am not a fan of either team,but I have much respect for both programs long traditions.With that said Belfry wins an ugly one......... 22 - 7

Sorry, but the mentality has changed. This is NOT the past and the program has been revived and IS a state power, as you will see in the post-season.

No one has stopped the Belfry run all together this year, and I don't see that the Panthers are going to do it tonight. We shall see!!
