Well..Everyone's Opinion to the Cavs and there not making the playoffs and not upsetting South Floyd just smacked you in the face..Because the upset was a 35-0 shallacking!!! So, IRISH4 looks like you need to go watch some more games before you start summing up one words"nope".... WAY TO GO CAVS! First of all, they would probably play Harlan or Somerset the first round, you don't play someone in the playoffs from the same district and yes we probably will get our butts handed to us, but still its unreal for a jenkins team to make the playoffs. Its just a great accomplishment just to go the Playoffs. Im not trying to be rude im just saying what needs to be said

Thanks for the correction, but still I hate when people just say oh you made the playoffs but your going to get killed. Our program almost folded 4 years ago and now we should be headed for the playoffs. Its unreal like a story book

I think that they have a new coach too this season that could turn things around for good. But I mean I remember watching things on WYMT when they were about to shut the program down and they eneded up winning one game. No one cheered as much for them back then as me and the rest of the viewing area for them to win a game. It's not quite a story book like the Marshall team back in the 70's, but it's a good story. I hope you make it to the playoffs.

This is the 3rd year that Mark Johnson has been coaching Jenkins. No one on here has talked about the main reason that Jenkins is good: QB Chris Puckett. Puckett is probably the best athlete in this part of the state. He has rushed for over 100 yards in the past couple of weeks. Phelps playing Pikeville that close should have the Panthers worried about their future in the playoffs. I am not saying that Jenkins will beat Pikeville, but I would say the Panthers will not go very far in the playoffs this year. Also, I would say that Jenkins is a lock for the 4th playoff spot. Donnie Daniels, South Floyd's coach, said the clock will be running in the 2nd half when Jenkins plays Allen Central. He said that Jenkins has a really good ballclub and the Cavs will have no problem with the Rebels. Jenkins won't win this week, they are on a bye week. Pikeville up next.

Dag gone, I didn't know they just had handed you the Heisman, congrats:1: Do I think Jenkins has a shot at the playoffs, yeah, just about as good a shot as any other sub-par team in the district. Do I think they will make it in there, they'll give it a good shot, but no, they'll fall short. Jenkins does look like they have decent size on film, but no talented players. I don't know why they can't get some of their track kids out on the field, my goodness, back when I ran track they were dominant, and was always 1 and 2 with Pikeville at all the meets.

Just by the way you were talking you were thanking everyone and the water boy. If they win 4 games I'll give them props, but it seems to me they are winning the games they are supposed to win and losing the games they are supposed to lose. With the schedule they have left, they should win at least 2 more games.

No I wasn't an "I" player at all, but after beating a struggling SF team giving props to everyone in the stands, the people picking up the trash, and the cow bell ringers its like you all done something great. You actually won a game, so don't keep going on about this past week. You've got a game this week to get ready for. I think 6 other teams have your schedule, and I'm sure a lot of teams in the state could do better with Jenkins schedule compared to their own.

Who always shows class and one more thing..DON'T compare Paintsville to Johnson Central because guess what...THEY COULD HAVE DROPPED THE CENTURY MARK ON THEM! You are talking about a city with 6-8000 people in it to a town that has 2800. Jenkins schools has 74 boys in the entire high school..So Zip It! These boys have been through hell over the past 4 years and we don't need people like you sitting behind a computer screen downgrading them every chance you get!
