Hmmm...I was kinda wondering if this would go in the football or General discussion forum but it's about football so I'll put it in here.

I think it would be kinda nice and fun for all us who could to get together and have a football game. You know like the BGR BOWL. It would give users the oppurtunity to meet each other and have some fun while there at it. You know cook out grill sit around and chat for a while. Then at the end of the day you know the big game even video it. Pike Co. vs. every one else. There seems to be a alot of Pike posters in here. I would really like to get this together. You know make it like an every year thing since we are gonna be here for a while.

Hey it sounds like something that would be great. I also thought it would be nice if we could have a BGR BOWL for the High School teams to play in. Pick a school each year and have a three day event at the beginning of the season and play all weekend, invite schools from other states and across the state to play in it each year.

Have two or three games on friday and then have it an all day event saturday and sunday.

This Breathitt county boy would more than glad to play against the Pike clan. I think you got alot of ole boys from Breathitt, Lawrence, Bell, Martin, Harlan counties who would get in this a come up there a whop up on those pike co. boys. Be alot of fun.
But it aint gonna be no powderpuff game Throwboy, But Me and my buds will most definately be there if we can get this thing going.

I had posted on another site that Iwould love to see ALUMNI GAMES from area teams. Players have to be out of school 5 years top play, Np college kids coming inand getting hurt and loosing scholarships......

The First Annual Bluegrassrivals Game Will Be At Russell On The Jfl Field.....all Procedes Go Toward The Youth In Our Area Under The Umbrella Of:
KENTUCKY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT SPORTS:
This Game Can Be Moved To Other Fields With The Procedes To Go Toward Youth Activities In Other Areas.
I Would Be Honored To host the first game..........

Im sure we could find some field to play at. I was driving down the road thinking the other ngiht this would be great. I mean, every one put in a lil money maybe 5 dollars for food and have us a big ole time. We all could have shirts made up with our bgr name on it and number of your choice and team names for each team and maybe even have a trophy that goes to the winning team make it kinda of an anual thing. Ive been scouting some of the fields out in Pike County and what would be easy to play on. Valleys field would be wonderful wont messit up cause the turf we have the picnic shelter on the end some one could bring a grill this is something we need to do.

GUYS I have a field already at RUSSELL,,,,,,,,,,, if you guys can make it???????,
check out the sticky thread for the game................... We could have it here the first year and then move it after this one,,,,, or we could move it and have more than one...............HEY we could have a season of some sorts to help the youth leagues in our respected areas.....

No actually I was kinda hoping this could be tackle. Been a while since I've got to hit some one lol.
