Last night, thery said that he's cautious when people are around his knee, but they also said how players are lunging for it and aiming for it. How dirty is that? Have your knee destroyed and then have people try to go after it more which would end his career,

Well wouldnt you be just the little bit cautious if 300 pound linemen and linebackers like Ray Lewis were coming toward you and you had a serious knee operation like Carson Palmer? I mean Palmer should show no fear whatsoever and is doing a great job at it, but theres always that thought inside his head, what if this play is my last? Plus his O-line has been horrible this year and thats causing Palmer to get knocked down more and hes being sacked more as well. Theres always going to be that thought and for Palmer it has to be in his head all the time, but for the fear aspect of it, hes doing a very good job like I said and is showing alof ot confidence out on the field.

And I dont think that anyone would be trying to aim for his knee. Although it is a target, I dont think players would try to hit it intentionally, and I agree that is very dirty, but players nowadays have more sense and respect than that.

It seems to me that Palmer has been a little bit gun-shy this season. Of course, I can't really blame him; I'd probably do the same with the pressure he's seen all season! This Bengals team has been a huge disappointment this season IMO and it hasn't helped Carson get back into the flow of pro football at all.

Season's been rough due to a few close calls that never seem to go the Bengals way. Season's not over yet though. Bengals have a tough schedule, but the Ravens do also, not as tought as the Bengals, but there's a few loss possibilities

Palmer has poor pass protection and is getting killed this year

I agree. Everyone's like "he's not having the numbers he did last year, he's scared," but he hasn't had time to. Some of his passes have been off, but the line's so bad that he rarely ever has time.

Might be dirty, not saying it isn't..But that is part of the game people. Gotta Accept it! It is a physical game!

Did you not read the thread? It's part of the game, it's a physical game, but it's not a game where you try and cripple other players because of their weakness. If you wanna hurt someone, hit them square, like a man, don't go diving at their knees, especially if they just had it tore up

I haven't seen anyone do that to Palmer. What do you want, people not to hit him because he has a repaired knee. Get real man..IT IS FOOTBALL! HE IS GOING TO GET HIT IN THE KNEES!

You haven't been looking hard enough then. They showed the plays in slow motion and showed how guys were going for his knee. Getting hit in the knee is fine, even his injury may have been an accident, that's fine, but going for a player's soft spot just to try to end his career isn't football. Football's a game, if you wanna try and hurt someone by knocking them out cold, that's fine, but go after them fair............. fight (fight as in hit) them like men

Or tell Palmer to quit playing like a pansy! Either one!

Actually didn't mean a pansy, but QUIT PLAYING SCARED! WHICH I GUESS THE MORE I THING ABOUT IT....MAKES YOU A PANSY!

Once again, tell players to fight him fair, instead of going after something that could end his career with a cheap shot, and he wouldn't be cautious.
"We can't beat them square, so let's go after his knees and try to end his career!!" That's big of you and them

Fight him Fair, lol...But I would say that they are so frightened by Mr.Palmer that they feel that there are no such thing as a fair fight because he is so mean and viscious@, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know what I meant, you threw it out of context because you had no answer to what I was saying. They're not playing football with him, they're playing dirty to try to end his career and expose his weakness instead of going after him like football players.

I think Football players would have more sense than to try to end another players career and play dirty like you put it as. Of course there gonna get after Palmer thats a no-brainer, but they have more respect and sense than to try to end a guys career and piss him off, and remember that did happen to a one Carson Palmer.

You'd think so, but the experts said it and they showed specific examples of guys going for him low and at his knee instead of his body.

As a Bengals fan, this pisses me off. But as far as being leerie when people are around his knee, I think is more of a mental thing than anything else. It will take time for this feeling to go away and I'm sure that its relatively normal to feel that way after a serious injury.
