Tim Honaker for sure... Don't know what other team's return... I would say Olinger, but Hazard moves to district 7 after this year.
Don't know about any of the other QB's in district 8

The QB from Breathitt County will be one of the best if his recievers are even halfway descent.

Olinger is a great one.

Ollinger from Hazard and Lewis from Clay Co. will be the best QB's next year.

J.K Ratliff from Johnson Central I htink will be pretty good after he hits the weight room this off season...If he hits the weights he will be pretty good.

OLINGER...all day long....

I agree with all the selctions here and it would be hard to pick the best, any team in Eastern Ky would welcome any of these guys.
JK Ratliff from Johnson Central is a tall, accurate pocket passer who was hurt for about half the season and JCHS ran the ball alot. If the Eagles pass more this next year, look for JK to turn some heads.

What about powell county's quarterback ? Has great form and really throw the ball. Works on form and footwork for atleast an hour a day.Has questionable receivers right now if any. Has a good line in front of him. He's about 6-5 and 200 lbs. He has athletic to get away from the rush. Never really seen him play this year, just heard about him in the newspaper. Never really will get regonized because he plays for Powell. He's not going to be the best quarterback in 07 but the thread was about quarterbacks so i figured i would give the kid some credit.

I'll have a little more time to get the receivers ready for him to throw the ball to this year.

brennon case should be a running back .. to small to be a quarterback .. but he does do well at it .. better runner tho

Fugate from Breathitt if his recievers improve any from last year, he looked really good last season but his recievers dropped alot of balls or did not even turn their heads on perfect passes, especially late in the season.

Cashen - Corbin

One that may be underrated is Boone Goldsmith from Lawrence County. Only a sophomore with some experience and talent may prove this kid to be one of the top qb's.

i honestly dont see a 5'10 gut that can only throw around 40 yards being the next tim couch although couch couldnt throw it much farther than 40 himself. he's nowhere near the talent level of jacob hundley or justin haddix that used to play for breathitt, stats arent everything.

Did you ever see Tim Couch play in high school? Tim Couch could hit the cross bar of the goal post from the 50 yd line all day long. So if he just slung it, he could have threw it over 70 or 80 yds in high school. Just threw too many balls between high school and college and his arm just gave out. That and getting sacked a billion times in Cleveland. We won't see another guy like that around here for a long time. 6'5 1/2 230 in high school.

I assume you have never watched him throw, becuase he can get one much farther than 40 yards. Zach had a very impressive showing at the Air7 QBU camp in Pittsburgh recently. I think only 48 QB's from around the nation were invited and he was the only kid from Kentucky.
