Don't know about anyone else, but I am sick and tired of not only the Super Bowl, but any football championship game being played in Arizona, Cali or Florida.. I myself don't find it fair for these teams who have an advantage by weather such as teams like the Packers had in the past to be forced to play in hot weather if the team is lucky enough to make it that far. I think it should rotate stadiums regardless of where it is! Snow and cold weather would benifit teams like the Steelers/Pats/Packers/Bills/Browns/Seahawks and a couple of others just like the hot weather would benefit teams such as the Dolphins/Cards/Chargers/Raiders/49ers/Bucs and a couple of others as well. Always thought about this so the NFL would make it fair to cold weather teams. Now I know the reason they do it is because they want to make sure that for the fans who would be attending games and spending all of that money would have no problem from the weather and travelling purposes..But this fan would like to see a sloppy, cold wintry mess! Just wanted to share this thought and wanted to see what others thought..

I think they should just switch it up and have it a different type of location and venue every year.

That would be the only one that I wouldn't like. My guess is that they don't like it in cold because less fans would come out. I do like the hot weather because the cold might make it more of a ground game and a pound it out game. If you can keep it in the air (or at least a good balance), then it's more excitement/more scoring/more big plays. That's could play another part.

But it is the Super Bowl..I am pretty sure the game is going to sell out, even if it was in Antartica or Ethiopia..

I want to see the superbowl in the snow. I hatt domes and hot weather because if it wasn't for Jacksonville's hot weather Donovan Mcnabb would have not become sick and the Eagles would be wearing super bowl rings.

Its football people!! Play it in the weather. Die hard fans are going to come out regardless of the weather and in a game such as the Super Bowl, weather isn't going to keep them away. Snow/rain/sleet/wind,etc... keeps the game fun and fun to watch.

perfect venues for the Super Bowl would be a cold, snowy, GRASS field..Pittsburgh would be a perfect place for the Super Bowl!!!

OKay for one they all played at the college level at one time and they have all sorts of different conditions to play in so anyone in the NFL is tough as nails so why worry about where the game is played just how the game is played and root for the team you want!:Cheerlead
B/c most of our teams are done unless your a patriots fan whose in it every year

I'm with you on this one PLAYBOY5! BUT, there is NO WAY the NFL is going to change it. They would loose TOO MUCH MONEY, with the halftime shows and all. All these pansy performers aren't going to want to perform in a Blizzard! LOL! All though I wouldn't have minded seeing Janet's wardrobe malfunction in the freezing cold! LMAO!!!

Its football I agree. But the perfect weather would either be snow and cold as cold can get, or rain and mud all over the place! Thats football weather right there!
01-21-2007, 06:08 PM
Now I want to play some football, lol.
