Even some of the good coaches don't have a chance! Would you fire the GM or the coach in this situation?

Yea I just read this as brkeaking news on ESPN and i was shocked, this was a surprise to me even though it had been discussed, I never really thought they would go through with it.

This is absolute BS! Bet the Cowboys wishes they didn't sign Phillips. Look at the Chargers now, NO Def. Coord. and no Head Coach! I hope they suck next year even though I do like the team...But the way they handled this, there front office can kiss it! How do you fire a guy who has brought the program back to be somewhat respectable and a 14-2 record!

i cant believe it either...how do you fire a guy thats 14-2?? I wish he could have went to Pittsburgh..I had heard on ESPN that the relationship between him and the rest of the organization had been pretty icy, but this shows a lack of class with their organization. You dont fire a guy when all positions are filled, and he has no place to go. And what the hell were they thinking? Who is gonna feel comfortable stepping into a position where a guy gets fired after going 14-2??
