He may get credit for the wins and losses but I think Coach Ramsey is responsible for most of the success. I also pick Boyd Co. to come out of this region unless Raceland, or Ashland has something to say about that.

What about Russell, they usually have good bats and good pitching. Who do they have back from last years team?
02-12-2007, 09:41 PM
Boyd County

East Carter, and Raceland should be very good this year as well!

this year will be interesting for the devils, coming off a very very impressive season last year, they could very easily be routed out or seed themselves in, either way it will be interesting to see this region play it is always fun to watch. I would have to say boyd is a strong favorite, but there could be sleepers in a lot of people

ashland will be alot better than people give us credit for we're gonna come out swingin the bats this year
02-24-2007, 03:24 PM
To bad that the coach has to be a jerk and ran maybe the best player on the team off. Anybody associated with Russell baseball know who I'm talking about.
02-25-2007, 01:57 PM
East Carter will be tough
02-26-2007, 01:27 PM
i think the final results of the region will turn out to be
1-boyd
2-ashland
3-raceland
4-greenup
5-east
6-russell
1-boyd
2-ashland
3-raceland
4-greenup

6-russell

and what does the past mean? notta. boyd is the best and raceland is good but russell is better.
02-26-2007, 07:05 PM
uhh i dont think so when russell proves something in baseball against ashland or any of those teams then we'll talk about it
02-27-2007, 11:39 AM
ashland is about as good at baseball as they are at spelling out real words at basketball games.
02-27-2007, 01:10 PM
ok we'll see this spring when ashland makes russell wonder why they even have a baseball program
02-27-2007, 02:12 PM
yeah and well have the same view. ill be in the stands and youll be on the bench. well, i guess you would be a little closer so you wuld have a better view then me.
02-27-2007, 03:41 PM
When was the last time Russell got out of the Regional Tournament and advanced to State? Have they ever?
03-01-2007, 01:30 PM
i think they have before but im not sure. they probably have
03-13-2007, 01:17 AM
Raceland has to be at least 2nd they can go 5 quality starters deep and nobody else can except maybe Boyd County. Good pitching wins alot of games.
03-26-2007, 04:37 PM
You haven't seen it in the past? What games are you watching?

Hey, try predicting with your brain and not with your heart....... It's more creditable that way. Boyd is an obvious favorite but then it's a toss-up. Raceland will have some pitching but will need to find the bats to score consistently. Greenup and Ashland have both sustained injuries to one of their best players that ended their year. ( Not sure about when Greenup kid will be back if at all). Russell will be solid. With Clark at center, doubles with be few and far between and not to mention his bat which he's been working on ever sense football ended. Like I said, After Boyd it will get interesting.
Your prediction is obviously bias.

yea i know after boyd it will be a toss up i just think that without there best pitcher greenup wont have enough and ashland has lost luke bonner for the year so it will be very interesting

Well said. This is an honest accessment. The loss of Bonner will hurt, he is Ashland utlity player that can do it all. He can play just about any position, well I take that back cause he can play ANY position if he wanted to or Wilcox needed him to. I still look for Ashland to be there in the end. Wilcox does a great job with Ashland year in and year out.

does matt thomas play baseball
03-28-2007, 07:18 PM
