If Coach Ratliff keeps the same offense he had last year, Brian Casey wont be starting. The backs will be Justin Thacker, Caleb Epling, and Brad Brahnam. Justin Thacker is benching around 315 and Caleb Epling is a tough fast runner. Brad Brahnam is a great blocking back. If coach ratiliff changes to an offense that has a true QB I think Brian Casey will be the QB and Justin Thacker will be the rb and Brad brahnam or Austin Stiltner at FB. Brian Casey has no chance at starting over Thacker at RB.

bryan aint a good runnerback i mean he is good with his feet but he does have a good stong acurate arm but he aint that good of a runner back he can make good decisions some time he cant mach upto the boys that are benchin 250 pounds and more he is only bechin 175 which is pretty good 4 his size and age
#5
yeah Ive seen him throw he puts a great spiral on the ball...
#6
that he does i think that the freshmen backfeild will be pretty good this year becauz they have that kid from elkhorn and me iam not tryin to be conceeded or anything people juss say that iam a dandy halfback
#7
Ive played backyard ball with brian but ive never even heard of you...its alot differant when you get to high school...alot faster than middle school.

Ya know what I think? I think that threads like this don't matter because most people are biased and will say their highschools backfield will be the most deadliest. Like saying East Ridge is a deadly backfield.....COME ON! Your asking what team will have the deadliest backfield....You're telling me that ER's is better than Rockcastles, Johnson Centrals, and other big schools in the mountains? And thats just if you're talking about East KY. I'm not trying to bash anyone, but I just get sick and tired of seeing threads that seem to be interesting until you start to read them because of people being so biased.

Well why dont you post about your schools backfield? Everyone is welcome...I didnt say east ridge had a deadly backfield, I told him who would start for ER because the guys he is insinuating have no chance to start......I think there are plenty of better backfields around here...pikeville, belfy, just because we talk about our own school doesnt give you the right to bash us.

When someone makes a thread entitled, " Most Deadliest Backfields in 07", I just expect to read about powerhouse teams that really do have great running backs. I never bashed anyone, just stated my opinion on this thread, and I also never mentioned your name. So stop claiming I am bashing you. Were you the one who listed ER as the most deadliest backfield? No, you were not, so my reply was obviously not directed towards you.

Gotta put Johnson Central in this catagory! Shawn Grim and Chase Richardson will spearhead a JC offense that will dominate oppsoing defense's this season. I look for Grim to have yet another 2000 + yard season.

Everyone has there own opinion. This thread is starting to get a little out of hand, Lets try to keep it clean and on topic.

#14

IMO i dont think either are good enough to start
#17
pikeville with tim honaker, ted honaker, daniel harmon
#18
I agree that definitely it has to be a Johnson Central as a deadly backfield. But i also have to mention Pikeville with the honakers, and harmon, as well as hazard(i guess im biased). Hazard has QB Tyler Olinger, and fb Austin Blanton, and HB's Michael Campbell and Greg Adams------All of these are great athletes from Grimm, to Honaker, to Olinger......and more.
#19
yea pikevilles daniel harmon is almost imposible to bring down in open feild
#20
IMO it's up to these three teams, Belfry, Pikeville, Johnson Central.
#21
who are belfrys backs

i'd say haywood will put ivan lee at fullback and play dustin may at featureback..I dont know who would be the other back

Sheldon Clark has two of the best backs the school has had in a long time. Adam Dials and Ryan Kelly will be as good of a tandem as there is in all of AAA next year. The Cards will definatley be a tough out for people in years to come.

Adam Dials is back?? I thought he was a senior last year...
#25
Nope Adam is just a junior. Him and Ryan will be in the backfield tearing it up like last year. Thats why SC will be one of the most punishing teams running the ball next year.
#26
Honakers and Harmon
watch out

Some people I know in Hazard always talk about McAllen or McAnalley from middle school games they saw him. He should be in high school now at Pikeville too. Can he challenge for playing time with those other good backs?
#28
I hear about punishment, cant wait for the Devils to punish some people this year.

The McAllen kid has alot of talent from what i've saw, he as well as Chaz Jackson and Josh Mullins should with the Honaker twins and DH should be one of the best backfields in KY next year, as long as they all work to their full ability they should cause problems for the teams Pikeville plays next year

is he a quarterback? thats the way your making it sound if he isnt. If he has a good arm and makes smart decisions then it doesnt matter what he can bench or what he can do in the weightroom
