JK Ratliff and Nathanial Dials of Johnson Central

Two Seniors to be at Johnson Central have been geting plenty of attention since the end of football season. They both attended the University of Ky. "Junior Day" back in Feb. and were able to watch the Ky and Florida basketball game. Rob Gidel of Kentucky Sports Report has written articles on both of these young men and Scout.com currently has a video profile on both of these fine athletes. Here is a link to the stories:

JK is a QB #2 6'5 195, with a very strong arm and can really zip the ball, but not the fastest player, but the footwork will come in time. Nathanial is a LB/DE/TE #44 6'3 235-240, quick, strong and can really take over a game from the defensive side of the ball. Both players will be attending another "Junior Day" at UK during the Spring football practice. Congratulaions on being mentioned on such prestigious sites and good luck during your Senior season for the Golden Eagles. Several schools have shown interest in both individuals.

Its a shame we lost Dials to Johnson Central.He was a great kid and a great player.We could and should have done something,,but we didnt and hes gone,,how sad.

I think dials will make a good college player and wish him the very best.When they play us I hope he plays his best game of the year!!

Lawrence County does not play Johnson Central this year.

They manhandled us two years in a row so we are getting a break not playing them.I just remembered ,,well I think this is the district were in,Rowan,Boyd and Greenup county.Seriously guys it doesnt get any easier for us that that does it?

I would LOVE to see Nathaniel end up at UK! Those two should be fun to watch and represent Eastern KY well this season!

I would love to see Johnson Central and Lawrence play every year. Maybe the two can hook up next season.

I seen this article on Scout.com the other day and found it quite surprising. Ratliff didn't impress me at all last season, because when JC thew the ball it was a 40yd hail mary down the field. He has the Height, but needs to work on strength if he plans on playing D1 Football. As for Dials. He's a beast. He can really hit someone and can do alot on both sides of the ball.
