Justin Blanton goes the first 6 innings recording 16 K's with Matt Fyffe stricking out the side in the 7th. 19 total strikeouts for JC pitchers.

Well Belfry didnt do to bad kept it pretty close at JC. Anyone know who Belfry pitched?

Congrats to Blanton and Fyffe on great showings today. Does anyone have any idea what kind of velocity they were putting on the ball. I know the cold weather may have limited the pitches that they threw, but anytime you strike out 16 of the 18 outs you have to have some pretty nasty stuff.

16 out of 18 for Blanton and 3 out of 3 for Fyffe, The fact that together they struck out 19 of 21 batters is Amazing. Congrats to the Eagles on another Win.

Robert L Runyon pitched and looked very good very well might be our best. Asside from some errors on the defensive side Belfry hung in there. Runyon is 1 of 3 or 4 very good pitchers at Belfry this year and they are all Juniors with one sophmore. I guess we will see, thats if they get the right players in there positions. Some of there best defensive players are on the bench. Bats don't win games defense does!!!!

Fyffe Has hit 91 a couple of times but is consitantly in upper 80s. Justin hits upper 80s but is consitantly in mid to lower 80s
