Best Lineman in the Moutains in 07'-08'

What are these guys other lift maxes because bench press isn't that important for football

what about there sqats, power cleans, deads, etc.

also if your maxes are legit then it sounds like they could use your help
sanhampie said you started your fresh and soph years ---sounds like they could use you
coach hager would be after you if you were at sc with that strength and experience---linemen are important

Saunhamp/pie was wrong about something, i didn't start Fresh year because I didn't play, but I came n last year and took the LT job away from a Senior, this past year as a Junior though I just had some personal issues and have put my playing days behind me.

As for the other linemen at Valley their lift maxes are very high, Cory Hall maxed out on Power Clean at I think 245 and he is just a Sophomore and may just weigh a bit over 200 lbs if that, Cory Mullins lifted 500 something on dead-lift and a 225 Power Clean, and he is also a Sophomore. We have some very strong boys up here and they will be making some noise on the line.

Is coryhall the center because your center last year was a little guy

That would be Zach McCoy, and even he is benching 225 and squatting in the 300's.

WOW
I am not joking --w0w--this kid was little at center last year---Has he gotten bigger??/

No, lol, but he is a lot stronger, and has very good footwork.

I dont see what the big deal is...A 225 bench isnt much...actually pretty weak if you ask me.

Will Sutherland - Belfry

Should be a beast on both the OL and DL.

Yeah, this isn't much at all. It's actually very weak.

Most linemen, IMO, bench AT LEAST 250+ and squat at least 350 or 400+

Can't believe there was only 1 post about a Belfry lineman, they will do what they always do,and thats push you off the line of scrimmage and make holes for May Lee and whoever they put in the backfield, doesn't matter whose on the line,Coach Mickey will have them ready, they just reload. No stars just a group of kids playing together.

I think that the big kid from powell Harlen Elam could be a big force at tackle this season but i heard his works ethics arent so great

We need to get some more Belfry supports on here pushing for their linemen then.

sc has like 4 limen that bench over 235 and are peretty stacked david hinkle benches 325 and brad staford gets 275 mikle mead gets 235 chaffins gets 235 man stacked

Leslie's line is a fairly strong line.
James Mosley 355 bench 455 parallell squat 240 clean
Tyler Wilson 285 bench 225 clean
John Wilder 315 bench 240 clean
Aaron Lewis 235 clean
Lane Collett 250 bench 215 clean (coming off a broken wrist)
Keigan Salyers 350 bench 245 clean
Randen Collett (Fr) 225 bench 400 parallell squat 215 clean
John Collett (Fr.) 210 bench 185 clean
The squat numbers are down a little because we are working on squatting below parallell. They are starting to go up really well as they get used to it. These guys are working extremely hard.

Even though they are rebuilding, I look for Johnson Central's line to be a force once again this year. They definitley have the best offensive line coach in eastern Kentucky with Coach Tony Burchett. He has coached some of the best rushing teams in the state on several occasions. I know because I played for him at Lawrence County when Michael West led the state in rushing. His blocking schemes are incredible.
#45
AJ Jones & Mathew Ausmus from Middlesboro. Both will be 4 year starters next year.
#46
Justin Willis, Cory Mullins, and Chris Miller from Perry Central

Blocking schemes aren't that special...it's about teamwork....everyone has got to complete their assignment.

There is nothing speacial about cut blocking.

True, your teamwork and assignment completion are very important, but would be nullified by a good defensive team. UNLESS you have a good blocking scheme.

Go Cards I love you guys!!! I know we are gonna be awesome this year!!!

thats nothing to be braggin about... central has recievers who bench and squat more than that...
centrals line will be good next year... the lowest bench on the whole line is 265... and squat is about 395...

Watch out for Jordan Johnson from Pikeville on the D-line. He is about 6'6" 270. He has been hitting the weights hard. Not sure quite what he is lifting but I know he will be a man child this year. I hope he can push the rest of the lineman for Pikeville.
