yes bryan is a QB and will probally start next year as a freshmen.

If coach Ratliff runs the same offense as last year he will not start on offense...but if ER had a true QB, he will start.

is coach ratliff gonna coach next year?
03-19-2007, 08:38 PM
valley should have a nice backfield this year..all starters coming back and they were extremely young last year since mitchell, justice, and kinney had very little or no varsity time in the past
03-21-2007, 02:03 PM
If Valley has a good line they should have a decent backfield

Gotta go with the Pikevilles "Triple H" Backfield of Harmon and the Honaker twins.

I think SC will have a deadly backfield.

No coach Ratliff is not going to coach. He will only coach basketball at East Ridge next year.

JC tuff again this year.
04-05-2007, 05:21 PM
dalton taylor, allen craynon, blake meade, and seth setser will be prestonsburgs backfield this year. This was the exact same RB core as last year, with out lincoln slone. Taylor is a senior, and craynon, meade, and setser wil be juniors.

jc will definatly have a deadly backfield. but i think ashlands backfield next year will be good they probably won't have the line to carry them but with Matt Thomas possible at QB and blake mcleod and rashard carter or josh alber and who ever else steps up they should be good
04-29-2007, 05:34 PM
Wait, what happened to Drew McDavid At Ashland?
04-29-2007, 05:50 PM

Qurivon Merchant is an awsome defense player, I look to see some power from him in the upcoming season..

keep your eye on estill three backs, justin covey, ben benedict and clay baber
07-24-2007, 01:31 AM
Russell's backfield no doubt
07-24-2007, 12:21 PM
Would someone please talk about Defense on these threads. I know offense scores points, but DEFENSE is what determines CHAMPIONSHIPS! Russell give a 3/4A school all they wanted and more. HELD THEM TO THEIR LOWEST TOTAL OF THE YEAR 15 pts if I recall and WITH A SOLID DEFENSE had a chance of winning a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! If you score 28 pts. and your opponant scores 29pts., your beat. YOU HAVE TO PLAY D!!!!

Pikeville without a doubt! They wil have the most talent with Harmon and the Honakers, but with that retarded offense that they run it is useless to use with the talent that they have!

Bath co.'s backfield will be lethal this year. Everyone except for the FB can run a 4.5 or less 40-yard dash including the QB. Everyone in the backfield is also in the 1000 pound club in a combination of benching, deadlifting, and squating.
Who to watch for
QB - Zak Metz. Has a cannon for an arm and a battering ram for a head. Really doesn't care to put his head down and run someone over.
HB - Blandon Clemens - Makes people look silly with his agility and his speed. Also, has a very strong upper body and has one of the best stiff arms I've seen at the high school level behind Chris Jennings
WB - Aaron Ashby-Boyd - Young but has very deceptive speed. He'll be getting a lot more touches this year with Wayne Stevens graduating and Blandon moving to HB.
HB/FB - Zack Baber - Very strong, very fast.

Dustin Miller(4.48)and Jordan Morgan(4.59) from Leslie Co. should make them forget about Ryan Howard pretty quick at Leslie Co. this season. Senior dominated line with a very big chip on their shoulder.
