Interesting reading.


It also said that chewing tobacco may reduce the risk of Parkinson's disease.
"either nicotine or carbon monoxide may, in fact, protect brain cells that produce dopamine."

Probably still not worth the trade off for heart disease and lung cancer.

My uncle had Parkinson's and really suffered with it. NOT taking anything away from Heart disease or lung disease but I know first hand what it looks like and what a person with the disease has to deal with on a daily basis.

Thanks calQlate... but he passed away in April. He had several automobile accidents back in his younger years and they told him that a lot of head licks sometimes causes parkinsons. He was a wonderful man who was full of spunk until the end. It (Parkinson's)really took a toll on him though....
