You better think twice before you buy cheap Wal-Mart Sandals.. Look at what they did to this womens feet:yikes:

That sucks, but it seems pretty rare. I wonder why it only happened to her and supposedly one other person?

I really don't know what to make of it but it seems kind of fishy to me.

Could have been something spilled or sprayed on the sandals during cleaning or in the back.

Some of those industrial cleaners they use can be pretty strong, so if someone was cleaning the floors or something and some of that splashed onto the sandals that may have been what caused it.

Who knows.

OMG!!!... this poor girls feet kept getting worse and worse... I don't think I would have waited so long to go to the Dr. Can't say that I would blame her for putting in a claim to help pay for the medical bills!!!

Thank god I got my sandels at old navy a couple years ago. That is really horrible.

This summer on vacation, my wife had found some colored flip-flops for $1 a pair and bought 3-4 pairs. I remember one pair fell apart after the first time she wore them, but I guess it could have been worse. Sad
