If the Falcons won't take him back, where will he end up? Where would he fit in? Who would want him?
I'm not sure he fits into any system, so would any team be willing to change their whole offensive philosophy?
Listening to ESPN right now, it sounds like the Falcons might really let him go.

Could be correct, or he might flee to Mexico, which would end his legal troubles and I think dogfighting might be legal down there, so it would kill two dogs with one stone

That makes sense because a majority of the Bengals have been in trouble, so he would feel welcome

I agree, BFritz. It seems like all of the Bengals haters are like Jay Leno: keep running the same jokes long after they stop having any comedic value.
C'mon, people. Let's move on...

I actually think this might end his career if he actually goes to jail. I mean who would want him back. He might end up like Ricky Williams and end up in the cfl

I really dont think his career will be over. The dude can still play I look for him to end up somewhere in the thats in desperate need of a qb. Maybe Gruden can handle him in Tampa or maybe At the ravens.

Well I can see his dismay with the comments. Granted the Bengals have made the news quite a bit with their trouble but it is getting really old. That is all we seem to hear.
Tell me this. What exactly does a thread about Michael Vick have to do with the Bengals?

I could actually see someone like Oakland making a push even though they have Russell. The reason being, Oakland will give everyone from Vick to Manson a shot to play. Vick would love the area due to so many thug-like involvement! Oakland of late has experimented with the African American QB (Brooks and Russell)and seems to be going with the more versatile QB but after paying Russell so much, who knows. I know one thing, with Al Davis, NEVER BE SURPRISED..JUST WIN BABY! I was thinking yesterday and the Falcons would be a good place for Couch! Still in SEC nation, they are losing Vick more than likely, and they lost Shaub leaving JOEY HARRINGTON TO LEAD A TEAM! Harrington reminds me of Bubby Brister, 2 guys that should have never had a chance in this league IMO! GO SKINS@!

Vick should be banned from NFL for ever and take that cheating ref from NBA with him.

If Vick goes to prison for more than 2 years, he's done...
If Vick is suspended and possibly serves a year or two in the big house, someone will take a chance on him, but he'll never be the same.
Vick will never throw another pass (not that he threw that many anyway) in an Atlanta uniform again.

The Falcons are good and all but who will replace him

Hey guys I am a die hard Bengals fan and season ticket holder in fact. It would not surprise me to see Marvin Lewis bring in Vick and give him a second chance when all this is over, whether it be next year or 2 years from now. Lewis just seems to like these guys who have legal issues. Hey who is to say that Palmer's knee will hold up over the next few years after taking a few hits. Im not saying this is going to happen but it could and it would not surprise me to see Vick get a shot, that is if he hasnt been picked up and playing good for another team.

No shot......... and watch your comments about Palmer. No way Lewis would ever pick him up.
Come say hi before Bengals games, lot D- tailgating, the only one in a wheelchair, I'm not real hard to pick out of the crowd.

Mr. Vick is probably done!!

That is ridiculous. With all the trouble that some of the Bengals have gotten into over the last couple years, they are the last team in the NFL that would ever sign Michael Vick. For one thing, Palmer seems perfectly healthy, but even if he did get injured the team would find someone else to fill in. There is ZERO chance Lewis would sign Vick.

You guys are probably right, I am just not a huge Marvin Lewis fan. I really thought when he came in he would turn the defense around and he hasnt done anything really for the defense, he has had some back luck losing guys to injury and legal issues but I really thought he would turn the defense around. Actually I think he may be on the hot seat this year especially if he doesnt make the playoffs.

I will agree with you that Marvin's seat is probably starting to feel a little warm. It is funny that he was supposed to be a defensive guy, yet that has been the weak link on all his Bengals teams. If the team finishes .500 again this year (which I don't think they'll do), there will most definitely be some changes in the coaching staff. At the very least the defensive coordinator (Bresnahan), if not Lewis himself.
