Congrats Valley. I figured PC would pull away with this one. Boy was I wrong!

I didn't say Valley would beat Belfry or P-Burg. They cannot stay close to Belfry no matter good they play. Valley could stay within a TD of P-Burg if they play their best game and the Blackcats come out sluggish, but that is a very unlikely scenario. My post stated that Valley needs to win the 'winnable' games if they want to have a winning season.

Panther Thunder Wrote:I was very unimpressed with PC. They only lost three players, granted one was their leading rusher, but with that much returning expeirence returning they should have a better team. Not taking anything away from SV, but I looked for Pike Central to be better than what they played.
I have t agree with thunder. PC loses two players to graduation and manages -3 yards on offense for an entire half. Huge disappointment for us Hawk fans. All we have been hearing is that we have a new high-powered offense which obviously did not show up Saturday. It looks like the Coach has a lot of work to do on his offensive line, but I did not think he lost any from last year. Thank god for the Nichols kid or this could have been a lot worse.

All i have to say on this one is Pike Central was poorly conditioned, did not tackle well the OL could not block a single person out there. You have to play with heart and obvisouly PC had zero the other night.

It was a terrible offensive showing for the hawks. They really looked sluggish. Valley was flying around and really laying some good hits. PC began to pick it up on D for a while, but, the offense couldn't stay on the field long enough for the D to get a break. Bad showing for the Hawks.
