No 400 yard average or however much it was for Bath this game.

Congratulations to Shelby Valley on their first-ever playoff victory! Sounds like it was a hard-fought win over a good Bath County team. I had planned on going to the game but the rain and a couple of nearby car wrecks changed my plans, so I listened to it on the radio.
Valley went into the half up 15-12, with SV converting after their 2 TD's while Bath was unable to. Then, Valley got a good return to start off the second half that set up their third touchdown, making it 23-12. After this initial drive, no one else would score from that point on.
The game was still not decided until the final minutes, however. Bath County marched down to the Shelby Valley 1-yard line, on a drive aided by a controversial pass interference call (at least that's what the WDHR guys said). However, the Wildcat defense stood firm and denied Bath from going into the end zone, and that was the series that fairly well sealed it. Bath would still drive into SV territory twice more, but each time ended with them turning it over on downs.
Good game all around. Congratulations are also in order for Bath County, who played well tonight, but were unable to get the big play when they needed it. Good luck to Valley next week against the Blackcats!
