Good Job Red Devils

Had to work but listened to the game.

Huge first half for Abrams and the offensive line. I think Russell only had the ball for 5 minutes in the first half.

After watching the highlights I also think Tyler Jones ankle is feeling much better.

Oh yes 52 yard run for a td they said he busted the hole and was off to the races

A real nice game from the o-line again. Our passing was a little off tonight, only 1 completion for 1 yard, but to Tyler's defense our receivers dropped at least 2 if not 3 balls thrown right to them. Gotta hang onto them.

Defensively, don't know the stats, but the PA Guy was calling #53 Adam Foster's name alot tonight. Must have been 8 or 9 times he was either assisting or soloing.

Also another good game from our Soph. Lb's. Keep up the good work.

Special Teams had 3 Good Snaps and then 3 Bad Snaps. I talked to the #53 Foster after the game about the snaps (1 was high and the other bounced back to AJ) and he told me that on the 2nd one he taken a shot to the shoulder on the last TD run by Jones, which is why the last snap bounced back. The other one he said was his fault. Promises to have it all corrected before next friday. (The FG was snapped by the backup guy which was also too high)

Well at least we got to see some of Jason D's speed on that 2nd EP. Maybe we can use him in the backfield next year????

Rest up, Heal up and Take Saturday and Sunday off and get ready for Mason. They will be most certainly looking for revenge.

That was one heck of a ball game back at Ashland in 02 (I believe that was the year). Congrats to the Devils on a dominating performance. I'll almost certainly be there next week.

Not a Big suprise.
Good luck next week.

Big suprise was the way the freshman team moved the ball latein the 4th. I am happy to see those boys out there and moving the ball.Tyler looked great,, ABRAMS looked great.... I see a healthy bunch of DEVILS next weekk.

Great game by the Devils, terrific play by the O Line, and Drew ran the best hes ran all year, really starting to kick it to the sideline, great running by all the backs last night, gonna give Mason alot to think about come next week, passing game was off, Tyler needs to work on hitting those recievers when they are wide open, instead of giving time for the defenders to catch up with lob passes. but to his defense, they havent passed much all year, plus wearing those big shoulder pads makes it tough, but we are gonna need the passing game to be solid if we are gonna go far this year.

Nearly every pass he throws is a lob.

I think this is the best all around game from our devils this season.
#22
Congrats devils....

I know and that has to change, its giving defenders too much time to get to our recievers, who are usually getting wide open. Tyler knows what it takes to win, and he's a ball player, so I think as with most Devil teams, they play on a much higher level, when the competition requires it.

The passing was there when a ball hits you in the hands you have to chatch the thing .

Yeah they should have been caught, but I see Pro's drop balls all the time, and they get paid millions, it happens, but its less likely to happen if you hit the receivers when they got their man beat by 5 steps, instead of letting the defenders catch up and get a hand in on the catch. If Russell is gonna get by Mason/Breathitt/ or Belfry they are gonna have to be able to throw for close to 200 yds, not so much mason, but if they reach breathitt or belfry, definitely.
#29
Congrats Devils!! Mason better bring their A game if they want to have a chance next week. I think the week off really did wonders for Jones and the boys and it was exactly what they needed. It's playoff time and the Devils will come to play every week.
