I think they are on the right track. You have to give any new coach time to get his system in place.

He should be in 10th grade. He played middle school ball for 3 years.

Thanks, that means I would have been 13 or 14 at "THE" time. I just get tired of people picking on him. He is not at fault here. You and a few others are really hacking him. He has a lot of ability. He just needs to keep his head. I support him fully.

This kid will turn out to be a good ball player...i personally played against him and he is probally the most overall talented player on that team.....it does not matter his age.....as long as he is eligible then he is ELIGIBLE.....leave the kid alone!!!!

I hear the head middle school coach has never played football. Is this true?

I am not questioning his ability at all...he is good for a 15 year old. It seems that a nerve has been struck with YOU, Mr. BlitzIf YOU would read very carefully and take notes, I take up for all of the players on the team. Not just #3. He is the only one under attack as of now. Did he kick your cat or something?:lmao:I just wonder why? :what:

Doesn't seem like it can happen with all the arguing between themselves.

But "IF" a frog had wings......You get where I'm going. I too, think "D" wins the big ones, but we played good "D" in a few games that the "O" just sputtered. Most of our guys that play "O", play "D" too. So we need some #'s to come out and help us get better.
Get to the weight room too, Pirates!
According to some on here the defense was the problem, but you say it was okay and offense was the problem.

Rose did play middle school football for 3 years, This is true. 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
Support is at an all time high for the football program. The new principal, the A.D., all 100% support coach Whitaker and the football program. Coach Whitaker is NOT going anywhere. Powell will give him the things he needs to win. He is a great coach and in time he will take Powell county football to another level. Team Mom , I agree there is no I in team but Jesse Rose is one of the most talented players to come through there ever.
He is a freshman, a true freshman. Why not support him? He was the leading rusher and tackler on the team as a freshman. If I recall correct he had over 90 tackles this season.
There is a reason he gets so many carries, Don't you think?

No matter what we think or feel, Coach has alot of confidence in Jesse Rose and I believe he knows a whole lot more than the rest of us. I will leave it at that.
