Howard is a proven winner and knows how to win in big games. I don't think LCC has the speed to catch Highlands but if they can keep the ball out of the Bluebirds hands then it could be respectable.

It is a game of ball possesion. If the Bluebirds run the ball successful it will be long night. Likewise the Cougars must control the clock and hope to create turnovers to make for a short field.

Highlands wins in a game that shows LCC is becoming a statewide program.

Unless Highlands totally looks past Letcher (and they won't), I don't see Letcher getting within 21 of Highlands. The Birds are for real this year. Really for real and are on a mission to win State. A whole lot of this year's Seniors felt that they should have won State last year and some of them had poor performances in the playoff game with CovCath game last year. They are motivated to win it this year (as is Letcher I'm sure) and they are extremely talented to go with that motivation. Add to that that Letcher has a long drive and have never played at Highlands (it can be an intimidating place to play) and I see a long night for Letcher.

LCC is in for a long, long day.

They will get on the bus at 10:30am, get beat around for three or four hours, grab a bite, make the walk down the Avenue of Champions, under the sign listing Highlands sixteen state championship years, take a stroll around the field, blob for a while, suit up, warm up, play hard, give their all, lose by a bunch and head home.

Probably one of the last teams I'd want to see come this far in the playoffs. Good luck Letcher but Highlands is gonna show you what it takes to become a real program.

Play hard LCC...Regardless of what happens Friday Night, you all sure proved alot of people wrong and opened some eyes with your hard work this season! So I say, PLAY HARD and let the game play out as it will! Best of Luck Cougars and to the coaching staff!!
