Highlands Vs Bowling Green in Finals

Most people would agree that these two teams will be playing on Dec. 7 in the finals. Bowling Green graduated 30 seniors off their state runner up team and I think they are better this year. Highlands hasn't been beaten yet and should be the favorites until someone does beat them. What are your thoughts? I'll take Bowling green by 10

I think its a little early to post this because 1 of these to teams could be beat before then you never know what could happen on any given friday so i would wait to see if both teams make it to the Finals before you post somthing about it.

There is a thread on here asking who do you think will make it to the finals. I was just asking for thoughts of who I think will be playing in the 5A finals. Why is that too soon for this post?

It is a discussion board but it may be a bit premature to discuss who will be in the championship game and predicting the score before either team has made it to the finals.

It's too soon because neither team has made it that far yet, if they do make it to the championship game, then you can start a thread about the game.

I really don't think it's a question of can. I think that it is a question of the thread getting more interest and discussion if indeed these two make it that far. I am sure there are fans of the teams they will face this week that feel like this is a slap in the face. Whoever Highlands and Bowling Green play this week have earned the right to play the game. Give them credit where credit is due.

One game at a time because anything can happen on any given Friday.

Personally I would LOVE to see Letcher Central beat Highlands. I don't see it happenin but how great would that be.

The thread about who will make it to the finals would seem to fall under that same category then. My post was about who I think will make it to the finals. I certainly meant no disrespect to any team.

Bowling green plays at 12-0 John Hardin Friday night. Come back Saturday and I'll tell you how they won by 20+ points and how they will beat Highlands. I saw Highlands beat 3A Central 21-13 and I'm sure it was their worst game of the year but they really did not impress me.

Bowling Green is one that could most definitely take down the Blue Birds, at the same time this is a very premature thread, because both teams still have two games remaining.
