1-3 inches of snow for Central and Eastern KY
#1
They're saying it's going to start as a possible mix Saturday morning....then turn into rain throughout the day Sat. Saturday night into Sunday morning it's supposed to change over to all snow and accumulate 1-3 inches.

The amount of accumulation should depend on when and how quick the temperatures drops, as it's expected to drop 9 degrees in a very short amount of time.

I knew we wouldn't hardly get anything out of all of this system talk..I just wish we would get a winter like we all, or well most, remember getting as a child. We would get 4-6 inches daily for winter months throughout. We would be dissapointed with a 1-3 inch snow. Heck, they wouldn't even call it a winter storm warning or watch. Now, it is called that and to me, is very depressing. LET IT SNOW!!!!!

They say we will, but I doubt it.

It's not rained or snowed at all where I live in SE Ky. I think they missed it.
#7

It wasn't supposed to be an SE Ky storm as of late. Here are some pics however from just north of Georgetown.

WKYT is calling for 1-2 inches for Central KY, and around an inch for Eastern KY. The snow for E. KY is more likely to fall later this evening.

The flow is still pretty good in eastern Kentucky for those snow showers to continue into the evening. Temps will continue to drop into the 20s here and roads will become slick once the sun goes down. Winds will continue to crank as well blowing some of the snow around. We will likely have some happy school kids and teacher come Monday morning. [Image: http://wkyt.mis.net/weatherblog/wp-inclu..._smile.gif]
