Inner Ear Itch Scratch Methods
#1
A bunch of us were laughing about this the other day having a few beers: you know that inner ear kind of itch thing that happens? How do you "scratch it"? I rub my tongue real hard on the roof of my mouth. What are some other methods? My Mom used to put her finger in her ear and shake her head real hard... ha ha

Q-tips or a pen...but you have to be careful.

I'll tell ya what... if you can scratch your inner ear with a q-tip or a pen... you've already lost 100% of your hearing. Its impossible otherwise.

I think he was referring to the ear canal.

Yeah, I don't think anyone's cochlea would be itching.

Good grief this is getting ridiculous.

Can no one make a response without being ridiculed?

Question: does it feel like the inner ear? And, if it is not on the outside of the ear, which can be scratched with the finger, what would you call it? The ear canal? Or, would most people say the inside of the ear, which if that is the exactness desired, change "inner ear" to "inside of the ear" ... and feel free to split hairs and strain out gnats all day...

Thanks Midee.

I agree, there was no need to even post in this thread. Just posted to cause trouble.

I hold my ear in and scratch the roof of my mouth with my tongue. For some unknown reason it helps. I also can squeeze my nose instead of hodling my ear in.
Smile Those were some funny sentences. It's weird but it works.
If someone asks me what I'm doing, I'm like "oh my nose ring is itching.' Smile Wink
