I saw a post on this site regarding the LCC kids that made the 5A District 8 All District team. Could someone tell me where the listing for 5A district 8 can be found?

Your coach will release them to the team when he wishes to do so. He might be waiting for the banquet or whatever you all do to end out the season.

Whitley does not have a football banquet. They have some kind of all sports gathering at the end of the school year. Single sport banquets would require some people to show up after school too many times wasting a lot of their valuable evening time.

Why would the coach hold the names till the end of the year? He probably either skipped the district meeting and does not know the names or he simply has been to lazy to contact the newspaper. He is not very good at making (especially returning) phone calls. Try getting in touch with him sometime. Good luck on that one.

The teams should not be secret, most of the district teams across the state have been published in the newspapers.

Why would they not want to call the papers in an effort to provide their players a little PR? Any positive news for the Whitley Program would be refreshing.
