Actually, Seether has not been to the Expo before. They were scheduled to come with Staind to the show you are referring to, but had to back out when their singer went into rehab. Unfortunately, they then replaced them with the kings of suck, Crossfade.

Anyway, I saw this same show a couple months back in Huntington (with Red opening up) and it was an awesome show. Seether and Three Days Grace both put on a great show, and Breaking Benjamin was pretty good, too.

You may not think it CE but their are plus Bogarts is a venue where all bands on that particular scence go to. They know they can get a good turn out.
Also i just thought it was kinda contradicting saying that the Expo needed to stop getteting "generic" bands who you can listen to all the time on the radio when you list mentioned basicly all the bands we hear on the radio.
Yeah, my list has music you can hear on the radio, that WASN'T my point. My point is that Seether, TDG, and BB are all generic to me. They all 3 play generic music.
There are so many bands that play the same crappy style of rock on the radio that I couldn't tell the difference between most of them.
My point was not that the Expo Center shouldn't have bands that play on the radio, just that they should not have such generic bands on the radio.
As for Relient K, if the Expo Center does not seat more than Bogart's, then someone needs to do some re-design or rethinking of the stage layout or something.
Bogarts is a tiny, shove yourself through the crowd type of place and once you're in there you can't move, but the Expo Center is bigger. If they aren't able to get more seats in there than in a place like Bogart's or Headliners something is wrong or not being maximized to it's full potential.
BTW, you CAN get Relient K to play at smaller venues, your concert promoter just has to be good at talking to them/their agent or sweet-talking them. I've seen Relient K play at ski lodges and I've seen Coheed play in a hotel meeting room at a conference before.

Personally I like film/TV scoring. Putting the right music to the right scene, etc.
Scrubs is one show with really good scoring.
