Picture is below. It's called the Macbook Air and weighs only 3 pounds. Comes with 80 GB of memory, is only .76 of an inch thick when closed, 13.3 inch widescreen, built in wireless and bluetooth, USB 2.0, micro-DVI, built-in iSight camera, 5 hours of battery run time with the internet connected, 2 GB of RAM.

I dont believe it has a cd drive though.

I ordered mine yesterday...Ive had an Alienware since 2004 and it weighs like 15lbs...lol. And it also doesn't come with a cd drive...dont really need them anyway.

I thought at first they would be somewhere close to $3000 but there only $1700.

I think it is awesome! But it depends on what you need it for. I prefer my macbook, but if you want an even more portable laptop the macbook air would be ideal. I can see it as good for college students or even businessmen. You can always use USB to copy anything that needs burnt onto a CD. I think it is best as a secondary portable laptop, but not a primary computer. Price isn't too bad for an apple product.
