This game was played at Lawrence Co. as part of a 3 team double header today.

Not really after watching them against LC I knew this would have been a good game. It really wasnt even as close as the score was. When I got back up there in the 4th inning it was 10 - 1 Lewis Co. If Lewis Co coach would have pulled his started about an inning earlier. Belfry as a decent pitcher who threw against Lawrence.

Belfry pitched there #5 or 6 pitcher to start the game and came in with a sophmore it was his first apperanceever for the varsity team. Belfry has had about 4 bad games in a row. I believe kids are being played out of there position therefore there is no fluidity. You must be comfortable to play well. Lewis played well but Belfry would take this if all their pitchers hadn't been used 7 games in 5 days. Lawrence co we played well we just could not get the big hit I would say we left 6 to 8 runners in scoring position. You can't when with a goose egg on the board. Lawerence is the cream of the crop in the 15th, Paintsville and JC must really be hurting knowing this.

Now that's a real intelligent statement. I think every body, every where knew that Lawrence was going to be the top dog this season. Perhaps you should worry more about Belfry not being so good , instead of worrying about Paintsville and JC.

Come on now. You would do the same thing if he said something about Belfry that you didn't agree with. You have done it before. I think what he was getting at was the fact that Belfry has lost 4 straight, and 3 of those being to weak teams. Their offense has not proven they can hit good pitching that LC and Paintsville has, and I think after this stretch that JC has proven it should be the #3 team in the region right now. They have improved with every game, and only held Paintsville to 3 runs. That is pretty good considering Painstville's fire power.
