This Pikeville team better get their act together quick. A team with this many seniors should not have to have so many dang ups and downs. Find some consistency and stay with it. They can't stay consistent at all.

Pre-season everyone thought Pikeville had a chance to upset some people, but ever since their pitcher went down, they have never recovered.

I am pretty sure Pikeville's ace went down before the season started with arm surgery. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not sure on the name.

The pitching isn't the biggest problem. They just can't make simple plays and aren't playing the people that should be playing. Most will know who I am talking about. Not an attack on the kid, but there are simply better options.

the pitching is sure one of the problems with this team...they have no true #1 and probably no true # 2 but from what i've seen of this team they have no discipline...and the coach plays kids that are not contirbuting to a positive experience for team in whole......For example kids at a game which I witnessed, from pikeville were on more than 1 occasion throwing baseballs at the fans (throwing into the crowd) between innings....this means that the coach is either teaching them the wrong waY TO PLAY THE GAME or not disciplining them for their misconduct......so there must be something underlying with this situtation to allow this type of conduct that we aren't privy to.

if a 7th grader can play better than a senior the 7th grader should play, it shouldn't be about the grade it should be about how good the player is and how much he helps the team.
