Sheldon Clark has a good pair in Dustin Meade & Jarred Waller.

Setser from P'burg is definatley one of the elite in East KY.

Josh Alber of Ashland will be a very good linebacker this season after a great season for a sophomore last year.

For area fans who will remember, he's built out of the same mold as Fields Davis and Josh Wills. Rather short and undersized, but gets the job done. Very hard nosed, instinctive, loves contact, and can fill the gaps.

JR Robinson and Ross Mccoy from Pikeville will be a couple of good ones . Both are strong, quick, agressive and know Coach Copelys defense. Dylan Conn is another Panther LB you could be hearing from as well.

im going with setser as the number one overall and hazard will have a few this year in campbell and howard, both of which were moutain top 30 last year as juniors....

Sort of surprised noone is giving any love to Charlie Dotson of Belfry. Dotson will be starting his 3rd season at LB and he flat our dominated every team he faced lasts eason from that position.

The kid may not have the size of a Setser from P-burg, but you will be hrdpressed to find a quicker/smarter LB anywhere else.

I believe that was just for District. But yeah he should have a great year next season, he is a really good defensive player, and a leader on defense.

Caleb Frazier from letcher central is a "BEAST". No other way to describe him. Getting stronger evry day. He will start garnering looks from several colleges in the near future. Great kid also, really gives his all on the field. 100% effort--100% of the time. I look for him to be a leader for the Cougars next season just like he did this past season.

With their speed they are needed more as DBs. We have 2 very capable OLBs in Mccoy and Dylon Conn to go along with JR in the middle. The Tackett twins are being groomed as OLBs as well. What is it with us and OLBs who are twin brothers? LOL!

I don't know what it is with you and twin OLB's, but I'd sure like to have that same problem at Sheldon Clark with some of the LB's you've had. Seems like every year Pikeville has STUD LB's.

You may be right, I also look for Ratliff to be back there in the mix.

Taylor is mean enough but I dont think hes got the body for it right now. Although hes going to be needed on the line Ben Staggs might be a good reserve candidate.

Tanner Gilbert-Clay County. A couple weeks ago he attended the National Underclassmen Scouting Combine and put up some impressive numbers. He set the combine record with 46 reps on 135 lb. He is 6'4 220. Ran a 4.71 in the 40. The kid has all the tools it takes to be a legit D-1 prospect.
