From the way they played last year and since they didn't lose much from graduation, I'd say they'll b pretty good.

Did AC have a winning season last year?

Central will have a real shot at a very good year , i will say they should go 6 and 4 this year.

What does everyone think? How is practice going? What is the numbers, who is the experienced players coming back?

If they have their starting quarterback returning that could go a long way
toward a successful season.

Josh Prater might be playing, but can anyone confirm him playing. I heard he hasnt been coming, he is a heck of a player, I would like to get a chance to play him.

my guess is ther going to be a decent team. but iv been hearing talk about that prater kid not playing also. but if he doenst im sure they will be just fine becasue one player doenst make a team. even tho he was an alright player from a couple games i went to and seen him play. but good luck rebels, see ya when you come to hi hat!!

Jenkins was a heck of a team, central will be alright, I think it all depends on how they handle all pressure of expecting to win.

heard the QB was not showing up for practice and the twins were not sure if they were going to play...??
even heard AC only had 9-10 to even show up for practice all week...?
any truth to all this, or just another famous BGR rumor...just wondering?

Talked to Josh over the weekend, he is playing.

Josh, needs to step up and be a senior leader. He does really well controlling the game.

I think AC has always had some problems with numbers -especially early in the summer. I can't imagine the Crowder's not committing to practice-not in any sport.

Sounds like the coach Jeremy Hall needs to put his foot down. Allen Central High School has plenty of kids walking through those halls that could play football and make them a respectable program but if things like this keep reoccurring then they'll never get anywhere.

Those boys have a lot of attitude problems, if I were their coaches I wouldn't put up with it.

I stopped by AC's field last night- the Rebels looked to have about 25 players dressed. According to one of the parents there are a couple of more players waiting on medical clearances and a few who have just moved to the area and are waiting on their paperwork to come in from their previous school. The boys came off the field for a water break while I was there and there were quite a few returning players there. Josh Prater, Chris Stumbo and the Crowder's to name a few.
