hey maybe if we all put personally at the begining of our posts people will think we know what we are talking about......in a close one ill take the Cats but look for ER to have a strong D with Eric Ratliff running the show

I hope East Ridge does because they deserve to have a good team. The boys try hard and they have a good coach. Hank Simpson will be a force to reckon with this season as well as some other guys. I'll take the Ridge in this one. Good luck to both teams.

Kevin Coleman told me that Hank was moving to LC. I hope this is not true, cause Hank is a good player and a great friend. i hope that will be unfounded and he stays a Warrior.

Shelby Valley will have the motivation to put a whipping on East Ridge, both of ER's coachs (Ratliff & Osborne) were standing on Valley's sidelines just a year ago.Kids have a way of holding grudges, and I would say that the Valley players would try to send a message to the x-coachs...hey fella's you'all made a huge mistake!!!! I bet that this game will be very entertaining to say the least. SHELBY VALLEY BY 30.

I think that ER has the potential this year to be a dangerous team, I've been to a majority of the practices and participated in all the passing league games. In my opinion it's gonna be a close game either way. It's just whoever wants to win more.

East Ridge will take this game i think. Shelby valley should be a tough opponent for us but i think that we will win by atleast 20

Both teams arent that great, and I can honestly say my opinion in this matter is unbiased because I couldnt care less about Shelby Valley football, but Shelby Valley will win and that's a promise...

shelby valley dosen't have a good enough offinsive, or defenseive line to beat east ridge...and eric ratliff is one of the best coaches in the mountains...he will have his team preparied, on both sides of the ball, and the warriors will be ready for the cats...no one will win by more than 12

I wonder which school has the better spelling program? Shelby Valley judging by the above statement....

From what I've heard Shelby Valley's line is their strong point..They return 18 starters from a not too shabby team, and East Ridge lost their whole team from last year (Paul Deese)

well alfus, if you knew as much about football as you know basketball, and baseball, you would know that sv have a single lineman who could start for p-ville, belfry. or p-burg...18 players who will be playing for a head coach who hasn't played more that a qurater of varsity football, and has 1 year of high school coaching experience. on a good note they do have david osborne who has a good offensive mind

well i have to say vally will win east ridge is young and really dosent look strong they have a couple athlets but not alote 1 or 2 maybe and they have no size the size they do have dosent look athletic looks big a slow no offense to anyone its just my opinon.

Shelby Valley will have no problem with ER, One thing is for certain thou,this Pike county Bowl game will definately open up some eyes in the district. By what I hear, this will be a coming out party for the new Wildcat team... a team that will absolutely knock your head off.I've also heard that this is the fastest team in the school's history as far as ''team'' speed.
On another note' WYMT'S SPORTS tonite had Valley ranked 6th out of 7 in district play, with only Magoffin Co being below them....I guess we'll all findout this friday.

OMG... War cheif i think that is a lil far fetched. 58-0 is alil crazy dont ya think. I think that it would be alot closer than that. You probably havent even heard anything about ER. But to make a prediction like that is crazy.
