I'm going to go ahead and posts this, considering i wont be home tomarrow
7 years ago, was one of the worlds most tragic days in history. I'm posting this thread to show my respects to the loved ones lost in the horror on September 11, 2001. As of right now, New York is building 2 glass/clear marble monuments with all the death names on it, right where the twin towers were. It it said to be almost 200 ft. bigger than the towers was. I hope to goodness those dont get attacked. If i was running for president, even though it was 7 years ago. I still wouldn't be able to count the bombs i would send over to Afghanistan. Speaking of bombs, the buildings were blown up from as well as hit. Some dont believe it, but on CNN they were talking about how the buildings were evacuated for fire drills on 9/10 and around 20 unknown men said the security cameras had to be turned off, in order of disturbing the signal, between the fire alarm updates. And the terrorist cut the pilots throats with RAZR cellphone battery covers. New York is supposed to have a 9/11 day in honor of it.
I'm setting this as my picture for the occasion, i encourage everyone to do it as well.

Good post If...Then, it was well needed and i want to pray for all the loved ones lost in this tradegy. They may have destroyed our buildings, but not our nation. I actually had a friend who was in New York during the attack and he said he never felt more scared in his life

Thats a great post If..Then. Hard to believe it has been 7 whole years since this tragic day, and it still seems like it was yesterday. It was one of those, you will never forget where you where when it happened moments. I also agree with play makers comment that they might have destroyed the buildings, but they didn't destroy our country. Very nice thread.

9/11, never forget.
I still get chills everytime that I think about it. I could tell you exactly where I was when it happened and will always be able to. It's hard to believe that it has been 7 years and our country is still fighting a war with no end in sight. My heart really goes out to the family and friends of everyone involved in the tragedy.

If...Then Wrote:I'm going to go ahead and posts this, considering i wont be home tomarrowI remember sitting in front of the tv watching and crying and i still cry every year that they show the highlights. I remember my sister singing God Bless The USA at church the Sunday after the attacks. It is a time I will never forget. I still cannot believe it happened. Whatever you think about George Bush, the moment he was at Ground Zero and the workers chanted "USA, USA, USA," was one of the most "chill-bump" moments of my life. He also threw out that first pitch of the World Series and it was right down the pipe. Most of all we need to never forget the lives that were lost and the lives of the living that were changed forever. God Bless all of you and God Bless the USA. Psalms 23.

It really is guys, it really is...
Idk seriously dont know what i would do if i were to of watched those buildings fall to the ground in New York. Many people dont know how bad it was until they actually see footage of it.
(i dont know how to embed, so if a mod wants to make it more visible. I highly would like them to post this heart touching video, so people can realize)

Wow Fritz. I had no idea that someone on the site was personally effected by the tragedy. He will definitely be in my thoughts.
My cousin used to work in the Pentagon but had took a different job a little while before. His wife's brother still worked there and was walking out of the door to go to work when his wife saw it on the news and called him back in the door.

I started watching something in the wee hours of the morning on the History Channel. I didn't really want to lay here and watch it all though. Heartbreaking.
I've tried once before to watch a documentary about how they overtook the plane and crashing it into the field in PA so no one else got killed. Buuut when they started playing all the answering machine and voice mail recordings, I just couldn't take it. Those were people who knew they were going to die and those were the last words their families ever got to hear. Shewww, could not bare it and turned it off.

I feel for the families that lost loved ones in that tragedy, but for people to say that it didnt destroy this country, what planet are you living on? Its been destroyed since the pilgrims came over and took it from the Native Americans, and it gets worse every day. Until we get a knowledgable leader (Barack Obama) in the White House, its just going to keep getting worse. Gas prices skyrocketing, natural disasters all over the place, a retarded REPUBLICAN in the white house, theres really no end to all the things that are wrong with this country. For people to say send more bombs to Afghanistan, what are you thinking. Thats not going to solve anything, it will only make things worse. Good God people, wake up and see whats wrong, open your eyes and see the problem for yourself. If you dont see it, then you are part of the problem and dont want anything to change.

Wow what a broad antiamerican statement. Let me ask you what have you personally done to make this country better? What have you done to increase our security or deplomacy? Thats fine if thats your opinion but it really doesn't matter until you take action.
