I did get a few pictures and met some fans, and handed out about 200 flyers..
I think Belfry outscored Pulaski 4 TDs to 2 TDs. They were running 10 downs each.
My Analogy.
These teams to me appear to be evenly matched. Belfry moved the ball with out much trouble on the ground and Pulaski just passed ball pretty much as they pleased.
Pulaski does have an exceptional QB #1 by the name of John Perkins (junior transfer from Wayne County). One of his goto receivers was his brother (freshman Ty Perkins).. and number 15.. (didnt get his name) but the kid had great hands. The backup QB #16 (sophomore Zack Dacross had a very strong showing as well)
Pulaski Countys Stud Middle Linebacker Derrick Beechard #14 didnt get to play tonight. I was told by his Mom that he was justreleased from the doctors and hadnt been in pads long enough to get to play tonight. Anyway this kid is a big time run stopper at Middle Lineback and he also plays Offensive line. . He is 6'2 285 and is being recruited by the likes of UL, UK, UT and Purdue.
Belfry looked very solid running the ball as always. Running backs #11 junior Devin Kohari and 44(dont have name) both scored. #11 Devin Kohari broke a few good runs as well. There was another back that may have scored. #25 junior Corey Chapman broke two long runs, one I know went for a touchdown. Their line is big and stong as always.. Their run Defense was also very solid. The main areas for improvement for Belfry appears to be in their defensive Secondary. ,Ronnie "Boomer" Edwards #79, Chad Steele #88, and Aaron "Dibble" Chapman #30 are some big old boys anchoring the line that can really move people out of the way.
I hope to get a complete Belfry roster. BelfryPride is working on getting us a roster.
I look for both of these teams to make some noise this year. Belfry fans and Pulaski County fans will both have exciting seasons IMO.

Thanks for the information, I agree that both of these teams will have good seasons, im just not sure we will have the kind of season we have become accustomed too here on pond creek. It will be tough to replace the talent we lost out of the backfield, but I have no doubts that those boys will be ready to go and givin 100% . I would like to say good luck to all the area teams here in eastern Ky!!! Thank God its football time again
