powell county's defense has greatly improved and it has been through hard work and dedication of the coaches and players. yes they do know how to tackle i do not know what or if you have been watching their games. their record does indicate they obviously have a defense. powell with take the field in bath county and walk out with a victory.

After looking at the schedule's, Bath has played tougher teams to date. They have been beat twice by good teams. Should be a good challenge for Powell. Good luck to both!

powell has not played johnson central and prestonsburg. and estill did not shut powell out. recheck facts

Powell County is in a good position, finishing in the last playoff spot. The toughest team in the opposing district is Somerset and they will be a 2 seed. If things keep going the way they have Powell will travel to Taylor County to play the Cardinals in the first round. Taylor County plays Green County tonight and that will be a great test to see just how good the Cardinals are.

No Estill did not shut Powell out. Powell got two scores on special teams which at the time Estill had filled with Freshmen and Sophomore's, I guess to get rest for the older kids. Since that game Estill has revampt its special teams and has not been hurt their, I think it was a lesson well learned for Estill. Powell did two legit scores, one being the first of the game. Powell has potential to score at any time.
