We've moved forward from that game. We were all let down by that game. I'd say most of all , the boys were. Hopefully they have put that in their back pocket and have learned from it. The reason it was such a let down was because we in Harlan County have taken ownership of this team. We've seen what they can do and are really proud of them. We have high, but realistic, expectations of this team. They are better than what you witnessed on that miserable Friday night. Come on back this Friday, get ya hot dog, a cool drink, and enjoy the game. You'll see the Black Bears of Harlan County take the field this time and we are expecting a victory. Big Grin

I would like to see Harlan Co, but I think Middlesboro is too tough.
#14
Every week the Black Bears play their biggest game of the season. GO BLACK BEARS!!!!!!
#15
I expect the M'boro Jackets to bring their A game with them. The Bears have something to prove every week, as well. Black Bears win this one by 12. Go Black Bears!!!!
#16
Bears by 3 in a very close game. The jackets are extreamly tough but I think the bears will defend their DEN! The score 31-28 BEARS!Cool

Hunter is an AWESOME player, not disputing that, and when Cawood played M'boro last year I heard the announcer say his name ALL night long. But, one player doesn't make the entire team; that's why there are 11 players out there. Big Grin Hopefully, the Bears will have an answer for Hunter tomorrow night. The Bears need this win badly to give themselves a lift going into next weeks' district game against Estill Co.

Come on Bears, your fans know you can do it if you play to your potential, and we still believe in you. GO BEARS!!! :Cheerlead

Come on Bears, let's win one at home!

Is Blanton 100%? He does add alot to the running game when he is in. Go Black Bears!!!!
#24
He makes the running game better two ways. First by being a good passer he opens the field. Second and most importantly him playing puts TJ in the backfield where he belongs. TJ adds those hard yards that can give the other backs a break and keeps everyone fresh. Would also like to see Roberts run the ball more. Go Bears!
#25
Jackets win 27-14.
#26
This will be the first of 2 losses in a row for da bears. Middlesboro then Estill.
