Ill take the hornets in this one they have been playing tough lately and their kids show alot of heart and after losing to Besty Lane last year at home by two points in overtime ill say the hornets are looking for some pay back

If Phelps practices all week on defeding the long bomb, they will win. Betsy Lane goes deep on all 4 downs.....I have seen many of their punts turn into fakes with their secret play, "go deep and try to get open".

brain camp, bless your heart, betsy layne has not faked a punt all year, I know that for a fact. As far as a long bomb on all four downs. The pass to rush ratio was rush 28 times pass 20 times. The pass attemps was mostly at the end of the game.

I am sorry if that was a little over the top. I am just a little disappointed, I really felt like there was enough talent here to have better results. As for the fake deal. I have watched as Betsy Lane has lined up (call it going for it if you want to) on 4th down and killed field position by trying to get dagger shots instead of allowing the defense any breathing room. Again, I am sorry if that earlier post was out of line.

I've heard good things about the grade school QB. But- KHSAA rules does not allow middle school students to participate on Varsity Football. He could - however- play JV as long as there are no Juniors playing for either team.

so lets just say he looks a lot better that what you think.
This is his first year at throwing the ball in football period. In grade school he was just asked to hand the ball off, and he didnt play last year. Trust me Nathan Martin will be one of if not the best quarterbacks in betsy layne history.
As for the grade school (qb) Dillion Hamilton, is a great athlete and will be an exceptional high school player. His time will come. He is not the only athlete on that grade school team, trust me they have a bunch of players that will have a big impact on the varsity team next year.
