What suprises me most is that the poll on this game stands at 33-3 for Johnson Central at this point.

Not really, considering that there are more JC fans on here than Ashland. Also, most ppl actually believe JC to be the stronger team this year. Doesn't mean they will win, but it should.

I'll go with JC by 6.

I agree that Putnam is a hard place to win, but I seriously doubt that the Ironton Tigers dread the 10 minute bus ride at all. They have been coming over every other year for a few decades and walking out of Putnam with the win.

If anyone thinks this game is going to be a blow-out, you're joking yourself. JC better come ready to be in a war because thats what Ashland is going to give them. They better not put theirselves in a position to have to count on a field goal to win it, because if they do I'm sure it won't work out.

Well we all know we have been down that same road before....I was saying I would be happy with a 1 point win..In no means is this going to be a blow out.

If a team wants to win at Putnam (with a certain set of zebras calling the game), they may want to be able to beat the Tomcats by at least three scores without the officials.
#39
Ashland by 3

Johnson Central takes control of the game.

Biggest game of the week and yet there was more hype over the Hazard game. No really I am proud that there has not been a lot said this week by both teams. Walk the walk before you talk the talk.

The Hazard and JC thread was the most overblown thread I have ever seen on BGR. JC will win a close one this week, 34-27.

I would like to see Ashland win this one. IMO Ashland is a great team.

I would have to agree 100%.

Cold, Halloween, @ Ashland (Horrible Combo)

JC is gonna haved to bust their tails to win this one. I don't see it happening though

Blazer by 2 TD's

Thatts not so far fetched. JC averages something like 475 yards a games plus run defense isn't Ashlands strongest point. YOu have to think that if JC comes ready to play that they will be able to post 500+.

Ill take JC in a not so close game 42-21
#49
I do not think this will be a high scoring game. JC by a touchdown or less.
#50
This one should be a great game

Tomcats have a way of winning at Putnam.

FBALL Wrote:Ashland's defense is very good. They are not big but they fly to the ball. There weak spot though is Johnson Centrals strength. Run straight at the Tomcats and they are vulnerable.

I like Johnson Central by a couple of TDs.

Didnt Russell try that?

tomcats 31- 28

I say it's whoever wants it the most....If Eagles want it bad enough (and they are hungry this year) they will have to beat 14 to 15 players on that field!! Keep your heads on straight and stay focused Eagles...bring home the district!!!! Wink

Russell is not JC

 Good one!! It makes no sense does it? :HitWall: It was all of those Hazard fans though that thought they could actually beat JC. I'll have to admire them for their school spirit though!

Prediction time for me. I believe that Ashand plays into are strength on defense, and I still don't think the train will even lose speed at Ashland. JC has the best offensive line in the mountains.

JC 49 Ashland 14
