The hazard bulldogs have had some ups and downs for this season? Hazard now has the 1st, 2nd, and 4th round at home. 1st round they will play betsy lane, 2nd round paintsville, 3rd round pikeville at pikeville, then most likely the winner of raceland or lca at home in the 4th. They finally have all of their team back healthy. Hazard hasnt lost a game at home since 2006. What does everyone see the outcome of their season looking like?

Its glad to have a more healthy hazard team now. Its perfect timing for a state title push. With the 4th round being at home this year will be a big time factor for whoever the team is that has to come play @ hazard. But who knows Hazard may not make it to the 4th round. i counted my chickens before they hatched last year and it left me disappointed. Second round of the playoff isnt going to be easy but since its at home hazard has the edge. But once again you never know who will win these games. All teams match up differently and wild things can happen. Pikeville is the logical place to play at in the 3rd round of the playoff but do not be surprised if allen central does not pull an upset in the second round and knock pikeville off. I know Daniel Harmon was hurt during the last game but that shows how physical the defense has gotten for Allen Central. So Hazard or whoever could be playing at Allen Central for a district title. Many people believe hazard will either play LCA or Raceland but do not be surprised if a dark horse named Williamsburg doesn't sneak into the picture and challenge either one of these teams. Hazard should get a win against Lynn Camp this friday and then its off to LCA for the last regular season game. This game doesnt make or break the bulldogs it will just show them exactly what they need to work on to get better for a run a papa johns. As of right now I am not going to say how far i see Hazard going but I am going to say they know what it takes to get where they need to go and i believe they are not going to settle for anything less than what they want. I am also sorry for the fans who really dont like reading a book from a post. LOL

If it is Allen Central, it will be at Hazard. were Hazard is 1 seed and Allen Central a 3 seed. I don't see Pikeville going to make it to the 3 round. On the other side i don;t see LCA making it past Williamsburg. Hazard will play Raceland/Williamsburg in the 4th round. The winner will play Beechwood for the title.

If Josh Kidd is in good shape, he will really help this team. Kidd gives them the deep threat that they have missed in the early half of the season. Having Michael Campbell back also helps a ton!! I hope they can make a run and get Raceland or LCA at home in the 4th round and get over the hump!!! Good luck Hazard!!

Hazard has a good 1A team, but I think that overlooking opponents in the playoffs can easily get you axed...remember when you did that to Pikeville a few years back? I think that they might have a shot against any team in 1A with the exception of Beechwood and maybe Raceland, but anything can happen.

Hazard can beat Beechwood. But i don't think Beechwood will make it this year. Raceland might not make it that far. Williamsburg is a good team. They are going to play Raceland. The winner will play Hazard or Allen Central.

No offense cj2561, but statements like this one is the reason nobody takes you seriously. Beech Wood wins state, good luck to Raceland and Hazard.

I believe that Beechwood will play in the title game again this year, question is, who will they play? I hope Hazard can make it of course, but if not it has to be Raceland, LCA, with my sleeper being Williamsburg. Heck, you never know what can happen on a Friday night, that is the beauty of High School football!! Can't wait till the playoffs start!! Good luck Dawgs, finish the season strong!!

Yet again someone else who thinks Williamsburg is a dark horse who can win it all or take out either LCA or Raceland.

Beechwood dominated Cov. Cath. who is a pretty good 5A team and the last time Hazard played a good 5A team they were destroyed. Hazard isn't exactly the Green Bay Packers, but they are a good 1A team that will have difficulty getting to Louisville...maybe not the semi's or whenever they would play Raceland, I just don't see a trip to Louisville in the cards for them though.

Hazard definately should make it to the 4th round. I am not knocking any of the teams in the district but i just don't think they can match up with hazard is all. Districts 5 and 6 is probably or i believe has the some of the best class a teams in the state. LCA, Raceland, WIlliamsburg, or Campbellsville.
I know last year is last but i do want to say this though, Everyone expected hazard to play in the title game last year but was fooled. This year is the opposite and i believe it will happen this year because they aren't the favorite on east side of the bracket. Hazard had the big head last year and it showed in the game at LCA in the playoffs. Even though the star middle linebacker never played the defense stood up and showed they could do it without him but the offense made error that costed them the game.

Hazard is just now getting back to 100%. When they get all of there players back. And let them get back into the flow. Hazard and Williamsburg will be a good game in the semi's.

I didn't say Williamsburg could win it all, I just think on any given night that Williamsburg could pull off an upset, meaning Williamsburg would have to play great and the team they are playing(LCA or Raceland) would have to have a bad game! Thats why they play the game. Anyway, Go Hazard!!!

LCA can't stop the run. What is the one thing the 3 teams have in common that beat LCA. That is a good running game.

Hazard give up a lot to green but without a healthy team. Against JC there was really no excuse or reason but the main reason is JC line is great. Hazard defense will get better at being close to a 100% before the regular season is over. Hazard gets there shot at LCA not this week but next week and see how well the defense does. I am not going to be able to make it but i plan on watching the game over the net.

I had heard that one of Hazard's players got arrested but is now back on the team. Can anyone confirm this allegation? Just curious as to how someone can go to jail and still be playing high school football, if this is indeed true.

LCA this year has been holding back some players on defense. In the playoffs I look for the guys on offense to play defense. They played defense last year for LCA.

It is true. He was back for the JC game. Hazard didn't play good in that game either. What is the coaches saying to the team by letting him come back. ( They can't win without him. That game they can't win with him.) They didn't do nothing to him. They just let him come back.

If I am a head coach then no way does a player that has been in jail play for me. If he can't conduct himself in society like a responsible adult, then he doesn't need to be in my locker room...just a cancer to the team IMO. Also, if you don't dismiss the player then you'll get a bad name and lose credibility for your program.
