I think they could do quite well if they keep their heads. rockon.gif

Magoffin Co.'s remaining schedule:
Belfry@home
Pike Co Central@home
Prestonsburg-away
Shelby Valley@home
East Ridge-away
Sheldon Clark@home
anything can happen on any given Friday, but as you can see the road ahead is not exactly a smooth one. Very tough games with Belfry, and it is hard for anyone to go into Pburg and escape with a win, Shelby Valley has played well and East Ridge looked better than they ever have. Just hope your boys play hard and with pride and make sure they know that they have fans like you that believe in them. Good luck the rest of the way!!

I'd like to say that they'll win at least one more game but it doesn't look good...

Long as they play hard and give a 100 percent. THats all that matters right now. Then next season, hopefully these boys can get on a weight program.

They'd probably give Prestonsburg a good game right now, we're craving the Magoffin game.

Thank you everyone for kind words instead of negative words. And I hope all these mountain boys do good and it helps mold their futures.

Yea we do have a problem with keeping our heads on our shoulders. If we can keep our cool and play for all 4Qtrs other than just the second half we could win a lot.

If we can focus and stay close in a few of these games we will surprise ppl with how good we can do.

I agree.. If everyone gives 100 percent for the entire game you have nothing to hang you heads about regardless the outcome. Magoffin will much better once they get on a weight program. I thought eingram mentioned they would be starting the weight program back next year.

Its very possible if everyone works hard in the weight room in the offseason. Look what a turn around Morgan County has had in the last couple of years. thumpsup.g

Thats not a bad idea. To let them build the program back up. Have you heard talk of this eingram003?
Don't blame you for standing by your team. Through hell and high water.

Magoffin has some really good athletes that never show up on the Field on the Court or on the Diamond. The thing Magoffin needs to really do is get the player interested in playing football and other sports at a lower age. They do for basketball we have a pee-wee program but where is the football one we have a 6 grade team that is all I think we have tried Pee-wee but couldn't get enough coaches?? Im really not sure but this has only happened in the last year or so, we are building a foundation to have good teams in football main problem is getting the kids to stick with it.

Everyone has lost hope and hopefully we can get it back. Maybe the pee-wee group could ask some players from the middle school or high school teams to help.
