Final!
Hazard played a great game and really showed a lot of heart as the offense couldn't do much the whole game, but the defense really made a lot of plays to keep the Dawgs in the game.
Hazard has nothing to hang there heads about, they made it to the carpet and they made the mountains proud.
Congratulations to the Beechwood Tigers on there 11th state championship!

Outstanding job Hazard on a well played game. It was closer than most thought and runner-up in the State Finals is a great accomplishment that the majority of schools wish they had the same opportunity to achieve. Keep your heads high on a very great year.

IF, IF, IF....The bottom line is it was a football game that ended up being a good game and very close no matter what the IFS. We could if nearly every sporting event, but lets give Hazards defense some credit. They contributed to those 4 turnovers. Hazard had a great team and could have won this game no matter what the IFS!!!!!!

Didn't say that Hazard couldn't have won this game because they had 2 chances to tie this game up but failed to do so. But as a fellow eastern Kentuckian, I'm very proud of Hazard and I was really impressed with their performance today.

The Hazard Bulldogs represented their community and the mountains well. Congrats on a wonderful season. This season was the stuff that dreams are made of. You have made us very proud!!!!!

We just got home from the game and I must say I am so very proud of the Bulldogs! Most people weren't giving us any chance against the juggernaut, Beechwood, but our defense really showed their stuff by creating turnovers! We just couldn't turn them into points, but we never gave up. We held Beechwood scoreless in the second half and that is almost unbelievable! Our Bulldogs have nothing to be ashamed about...they proved their worth and all the nay-sayers now have to eat a little crow of their own! Congratulations to Beechwood on their eleventh state class A championship and to the Bulldogs for their outstanding effort!

I have finally made it back from Louisville. I want to congradulate Beechwood on there 11th title. This game could of went either way. The Michael Campbell catch in the endzone was in i dont care what the ref say. I normally do not complain about the officating but this game was given to beechwood. I also do agree that the game could of been much worse than expect but it wasnt. But Congrads to Hazard on a great season and too the seniors I am sorry but atleast you made school history.
