I hate to wish the summer away, but I'm looking forward to football. My son was in the Pikeville College football camp last week, got a little taste of it. :Thumbs:

As a baseball guy, football needs to hold-off. Kids who play summer baseball get cheated out of their season by having to go to mandatory practices beginning in the middle of July. July and early August is the prime-time for baseball season with travel and World Series.

Actually they still can't practice until Monday. Most teams use Monday and Tuesday to do physicals.

See, I play it smart. We schedule our family vacation in the first or second week of August. That way I've got that to look forward to, and then suddenly, THERE'S FOOTBALL!!!:rockon:
