I hope your High school football team is a lot better than the "My name can not be Earnhardt" NASCAR driver you pull for.........:flush:

Hey Blount County sports fan do you see us on CoachT trashing your team? Stay on your board and we will stay on ours. :please:

Old news I think most of the Coaches and some of the players are down there today. From what was stated earlier on the thread they may come back and cancel the game out of pure fear of the downspouts. :HitWall:

All I saw last year was everyone bashing Bell about how weak the teams they played. I think that if I was soom of these fans I would be a little upset. But for a change of teams they have chosen to play outside the state. I for one think this is a great chance for one of our mt. teams to put us on the map in football. If Bell would beat Alcoa then this would give everyone a chance to say this is mt. football. I will be there to pull for Bell just the same if it was any other team in this state. I bleed BLUE not orange. GO BELL!!!

They may....The F5 physically manhandled the states' third largest school ones v. ones, then the youngsters came in and a track meet broke out.
I agree, Bell should just forfeit.

(just kidding bell sheep) It waill be a good game for a short while, but Alcoa depth and team speed will just be too much.

Do they play 15 minute quarters in Tn??? I still don't quite understand the depth questions???? In a 48 minute game you have a what 70-75 plays in a game featuring 2 primary running teams. Depth is overrated.

12 Minute quarters.

Alcoa rotates players on every down............Depth WILL be a factor, BUT Alcoa coaches will "call off the F5" and play 2nd and 3rd teams late in the 3rd and 4th qtr's.

Qtr 1. Alcoa 14, Bell 0
Qtr 2. Alcoa 27, Bell 0
Qtr 3. Alcoa 34, Bell 0
Qtr 4. Alcoa 41, Bell 7

:thatsfunn I like how you threw in that missed extra point....
Although it is ALWAYS the one after the fifth TD. Why? I dunno.

So,......what did the coaches and players think when they saw Little 2A Alcoa run 6A powerhouse Farragut off the field in Monday's scrimmage?

Next up in scrimmages........5A Knoxville's Powell High School and 6A Oak Ridge.

I think 27 would be 4 TD's not sure if my math is right.:eyeroll:

When was the last time Bell gave up 34 points in a half? I think you Alcoa fans maybe in for a suprise yoursleves. We maybe small, slow and weak but we play some pretty decent defense.

It is great that you would think you are pointing out an inaccuracy in my statement when, in fact, I was pointing out an inaccuracy in BC's statement. Your ruse attempt is admired by all watching this thread. :Wave:Our kicker did generally miss the 5th extra point attempt of each game, I guess because he was winded midway through the second period. The F5 may not roll up 41 points (missed XP) on Log Mountain that night, but to think that Bell is within 4 scores of Mighty Alcoa is a stretch at best.

If you have not noticed we don't keep up with all the other predictions you all have made in the past, on your other little boards. You all have lots of respect in TN. but have yet to earn in it in KY.

Yea, No one in town knew about William Muney from Missouri and his past when he first rode into town. BUT, when he rode out of town.........all on log mountain knew!

Let's talk about something real here. What does your all's starters look like now. Height, weight and class. I will see if someone can come up with an updated 1 for the Bobcats

We know that Alcoa has a good team, but if u don't blow us away want you feel STUPID? There will only be about 18 players that will actually play, and they are mostly sophmores & juniors. We are excited to play this game, but in reallity its just another slot filled on the schedule.
#77
Bell has 7 or 8 seniors on this years team. Of those seniors all but 1 have been 2-3 year starters. Don't discount the seniors.

For a school coming off a 15-0 season and a state championship, you seem a little skeered??
#79
We only have 7 seniors. Matt, Keith, and Cody will be playing both sides of the ball 4 sure, and Joe Collett is working to start on the D-line so that would make 4 seniors starting both ways. If they can't find some to tak up slack on OL Billy Lawson (The Beast) will have to go both ways. (Just my thoughts)

BCsportsfan Wrote:For a school coming off a 15-0 season and a state championship, you seem a little skeered??

why should they be skeered its football, and they play good football, aloca puts there pads, helmets, shoes, on the same way bell does, yes the f5 is good but you make they seem like gods, and cant be beat,so just keep thinking that, and bell is not my team belfry is,the f5 may win but i bet they remember taking a beating because bell will hit you unlike most teams in tn that wont,i lived in tn and seen alot of teams play and they couldnt play with bell on a good day,you may go home beening a weak thunder storm instead of an f5....

I can promise you nobody is skeered. Alcoa better hope they are fast or they may get suprised. Their has been alot of ultra talented teams with multiple D-1 signee's not just prospects come up to the mountain and leave a shadow of themselves. :devilflam Some of them won the battle but lost the war of the rest of the season with injuries.

You just better hope they don't get the windstorms in a phone booth or a muddy field. :lmao:

To bad the mountains bust the winds up. So the chances of a tornado coming in and doing any damage is not too good. :eyeroll:
