I buy the recycable (sp?) bags. Especially at Food City. They fit a lot more food in them and are just easier in general, I think

I have the bags from Food City bags too for groceries, but if I'm at Whole Foods in Lex where they use paper, I ask for it, for my cat, they love paper sacks, or keep Abercrombie bags, but always cut the handles off.
