Top Receivers in the Mountains?
#1
Who do you think?
#2
Josh Fletcher and Zach Epperson from Breathitt.
#3
I think Zac is going to have one heck of the year. He is going to do for Breathitt what Ryan Allen did. Fletcher is a deep threat that can bring the coverage with him and have Zac coming across the middle.
#4
Joey Meehan
#5
casey delong from SC is a very good WR!!!
#6
J.V. hooker, Noah Reid, Chris Gilbert, Tanner Gilbert Clay Co.
#7
Dylon Smith, will be valuable as a KR and PR also!
#8
Chase Adams will be a YACK reciever, and punt returner.
#9
Look for Matt Powers of Middlesboro to make some noise in 2A this season. This kid is a senior. He has some nice footwork and soft hands that receivers are expected to have.

along with Mikkie Moore:Thumbs:
#11
Matt Raines and Cody Davenport of Bell County:Thumbs:
#12
Breathitt has Fletcher and Epperson.
#13
I look for the Breathitt receivers to have a good year this year. Everyone will be keying in on Channing and Jade and they will have the chance to show their skills.

I just don't see us as a pass team. I wish we was, but we need some recievers who will work this off season on speed, and route running.

J.V. Hooker from Clay is the best I have seen.

Yes i agree that someone has been stepping it up in the pre-season. With Logan behind center LCC will likely field one of the mountains top recievers. It may take a couple of games to get him noticed but he will be!

corey charles from belfry

My top two would be:

1. Matt Raines - Bell County
2. Matt Powers - Middlesboro

I like it, but I wouldn't leave Hooker from Clay County out. He has all the ingredients of great Mountain receiver.

I agree. I'd put him at number three.
#22
Tyler Rattlinfe from East Ridge is good.
#23
Brown,Stephens,Smith, and Adams from LCC will be great weapons for the young Johnson to use to his advantage.
#24
Andrew Ratliff from East Ridge is a very talented receiver.
#25
Remember the name "ERIC BACK" from Hazard. He had several 80 and 90 yard runs as a freshman at PCC. Hes much bigger, stronger, and faster now. Look for him to have an All State type year.
#26
Cody Davenport and Matt Raines for Bell tops for sure.
#27
you will throw the ball! Do you know anything about Mike Whitaker?
#28
Breathitt Co. has a good tripple threat Ritchie,Epperson and Fletcher and hopefully we to seewill get the ball thrown to them some, with the running game of Fugate and Haddix WoW.. lots of Breathitt Co. fans wants to see more passing but who knows .Breathitt Co.really needs to mix it up more but thats way it goes passing is a lot more enjoyable to watch and exciting, but winning with what you do best and we know Bobcats can run,so good Luck Bobcats!!!

I've seen a lot of the players mentioned in this thread and out of the one's I've seen Matt Powers of Middlesboro with his combination of size , speed and hands has the most potential of playing at the next level.

Who knows maybe Middlesboro will open it up and throw the football 50 to 70 times a game like other schools from around here.
