Well if that isn't a coincidence I don't know what is! That is the same record Belfry and Bell has in their last 4 meetings!
Of course you didn't include the forfeit from Highlands as one of the wins did you?

I didn't have to... you were the one who was mentioning how Highlands WONT PLAY Bell and threw in a part about excuses.
The last 4 meetings between Bell and Belfry.
Bell wins at Belfry convincingly in a game where Dwayne Good (I believe was his name) had a 99 yard TD run.
Belfry wins at home when Bell misses a field goal as time expire.
Bell wins at home in 4" of mud (it really did rain though that time

Belfry wins at Bell as Brad hatfield catches a TD pass with 20 seconds to go.
2-2.

What year was this game??????? B/c I don't remember it. Belfry always had to come to us b/c they were the lower seed.

Bell beat Belfry in the pike bowl in the late 80's or early 90's. That might be the 99yd Good run.

Well Bell won then. Bell beat Belfry in the 87 or 88 Pike Co. bowl. We played the pirates in the 92 and 93 playoffs wining both games pretty handily. In 1995 Belfry beat Bell at home in the 2nd round and in 1996 Bell beat Belfry at Vipperman stadium. That was the year of the Dwayne Good run he was Jr. that year.
Bell 4 Belfry 1.

Bell 4 Belfry 1.
1998
Belfry 14-13
http://www.khsaa.org/football/1998/fb3a1998.htm
Bell won big in 97 and 96, 34-7, at Bell in the mud in 97, Bell dominates Belfry thanks to Good in 96 33-14.
Belfry won in 95 at Bell as time expired 7-0.
(For the record also Highlands is 3-0 against Bell since 96, except one of those games actually counts as a loss due to forfeit)
Now back to the topic at hand.

I concur. It is laughable when a team like Knox central is ranked ANYWHERE after a 4-6 season and missing the playoffs. They really know what they are talking about.:dontthink
Sonny moore is legit.
The other polls are divided by classes.

Bell doesn't stand a chance in this one... Yeah they won the 4A state title last year. 4A was extremely weak last year.. Was laughable how weak it was. Bell fans have the big head now.. I've seen this years Alcoa team scrimmage and I saw Bell from last year. This years Alcoa team would have drilled last years Bell team..Alcoa is extremely quick and athletic.. I'm from Middlesboro and I wish Bell the best of luck but it ain't happenin.. Alcoa wins this one big!
Alcoa 42
Bell County 13
Alcoa 42

Wow, you Bell County fans really have pride. I am by no means calling anyone out either. What I'm saying is a lot of you have never seen teams like Alcoa play before. I have a brother who seen an Alcoa team a few years back and he absoultely raved about how they played. His exact words were "hard-nosed, well coached, and super athletic". He said they were about like the teams he is used to watching in Georgia. Let me tell you people Georgia is the real deal when it comes to high school football east of the Mississippi River. If it weren't for the Prestonsburg/Belfry game, I would be attending this very game.
This game will be a head-scratcher for you Bell County fans that don't understand what this Alcoa team is capable of. I know for a fact that Coach Hilton has his team prepared and has his team believing that this opening game will be probably the toughest game they play this year. It still won't be enough in my opinion. I'm sure people who know football would agree.
By the way, you Alcoa fans are cracking me up. You all have some creative work there. I hope you staff members don't mind it.
Well anyhow, here is what the score should look like---
Alcoa, TN - 45
Bell County - 20
I wish Bell County all the luck in the world, but we need to be realistic.

27-0 in one quarter against a "6A" school.
OK then.

Junior Fullback Tahain Tyson last night.
Notice the low numbers on the defenders around the ball....he gets to the second level quick for a big guy.

William Blount maybe 6A but they are not that good even though they play in TN. :eyeroll:
Jacketfan it sounds as if their is big trouble in the boro. They took a beating last night by Jackson Co.:flame:
Not sure the point about Georgia? Who cares. Heck for that matter their is huge difference between Bell and Middlesboro and they are just 8 miles apart. :ChairHit:
