Wasnt Vai the guitarist for David Lee Roth for awhile?? Yeah Ive heard of Yngwie and Vai both, and I also had the Passion and Warfare cassette back in the day..Im racking my brain, but didnt Yngwie have a beef with someone not too long ago?? I remember reading about it, but I cant remember who it was..Ill tell you someone else I like listening too, but he's nowhere near the level of guitarists we've mentioned, but I like listening to Mark Tremonti from Creed and Alter Bridge.
