Cov Cath gets listed by pure reputation. They have a new coach and have graduated almost every skill position player of note. Un-uh, CCH is hardly a top ten team

Looks Great for 4A!!!!! Bell Co should be #1 until beaten by another 4A team in the State!!!!

Class 3A is rather weak this year outside of the top 3. Union County is unproven along with several other 3A teams.
You could basically draw 10 teams out of a hat and come up with a pretty could ranking outside of the top.

Agree with everything except in class 4a Bullitt East is a good team but should not be ranked ahead of Boyle the Rebels should be top 3 if not top 2

I think that Boyle County should be higher as well, but they did lose some key players and graduated around 18 players I believe.

Looks pretty good to me.

maybe i am a homer to but the tomcats should be very good with carter albers demartino and hunter all returning from last year i know the schedule is tough this season so it givem them oppurtunity to prove themselves i think they will a top ten team by week 3 and gearing up for a long postseason run

Ashland received votes and IMO it shouldn't take long before the Tomcats are in the class 5A top 10.

owensboro should be roughly #2 in 5a

I like it but I may switch Raceland and Fairview though, just from what I have heard about how they have fared in their scrimmages, but you can never really tell much from what you hear though.

Are we doing a ranking by classes this year or are we going to also have an overall ranking system like last year, just wondering?

Just rankings by class.
The website is growing more west everyday and I didn't think it be would be fair to rank just EKY teams.
Hope you understand.

Thanks for including us "west siders" I enjoy keeping up with the East.

I think you will see Covington Holy Cross ranked in the top 5 in 2A before long. They are a very good team.

I can't argue with that. They received a few votes for the tenth spot. We will see how it all pans out.

Spread the word out west for us. To the detriment of all, we've made an impact up north....

Sheldon Clark should go to State.

Looks like Breathitt willl be #1 in 3A next week!

I have to take exception with NewCath at #2 in 2A. Too much talent graduated and Holy Cross looks pretty tough up here.
08-24-2009, 08:35 PM
New rankings will be coming out at some point tonight.

Sorry guy/gals, the rankings will have to be pushed back a night. Some of our regular voters weren't able to vote before our usual deadline so tomorrow night our rankings will be out sometime between 9-10:30 pm.
Sorry,
