With all due respect.. I think it may be a little uglier than that. Ironton is finally getting back to their old form.

No different than any other year.

Yeah it is. Irontons line is so strong and so big. They are heads an tails above everyone else in the area this year. Wheelersburg is a very good team and they got absolutely manhandled. The pirates are very comparable to your Tomcats in size and speed.

Ironton will handle Russell, Ashland and anyone else locally this year.

I hope they do keep it close with the Tigers. If you want to throw out a better comparison with Russell it would be Spring Valley. I do believe the Timberwolves are currently the 12 ranked team in class 3A in WV. That is WV largest class comparable to 6A over here. They defeated a pretty good Princeton team last night. They and Russell were pretty even when they scrimmaged. Ironton is just better. Bigger, stronger, faster. I believe the Tigers have a chance at a perfect regular season and a long run in the Ohio playoffs.
