Should be a dandy of a ball game. This seems to be the style of offense Ashland will be most vulnerable to this season and will also be their first trip out of the friendly confines of Putnam Stadium. Belfry hasn't seemed like themselves lately, but a win here would put them right back on track.
I'm looking forward to making my first trip out to the CAM and seeing the stadium, field, and most importantly, tailgating.

I look for Ashland to win this one. Their D should be able to hold Belfry to 10 or less points.

Should be a good game. But seems like The Tomcats always have there number. Belfry hasn't faired to well against Ashland.

You KNOW the tailgating at Pirate land is gonna be worth the wait!! Be sure and get their early enough though.....

Belfry is getting back on track.... Hopefully, they will be more like themselves next weekend and will pull it out!!!

The tomcats have had belfrys number, I think they have only beaten Ashland 1 or 2 times ever.

Belfry improved significantly from Week 1 to Week 2 and I would expect that trend to continue. If they played each other last night I would say Ashland would have won by 4 TD's. As it stands now, and after the loss of Carter, I think it is a closer game with Ashand still being the favorite.

I'll take the Tomcats in a close one.
Best of luck to both!

How many games a year does Ashland play outside Putnam Stadium? It seems like they always play at home. Didn't they make a deal with Pikeville to play for 2 years as long as Pikeville traveled to Putnam both years?

Ashland has 5 home games and 5 road games this season. Over the last decade or so they have usually been able to maintain a 6 home and 4 road game regular season, though.

I think Belfry will surprise a few in this one.

I think Ashland's defense and special teams prove to be the difference in a low scoring game.

Love my pirates but Ashland has their number for whatever reason and this year I believe that Ashland is the better team. Hopefully Belfry plays well and eliminates mistakes and plays more physical so to kepp it a competitive game but too much Tomcats IMO.
Ashland-28
Belfry-7
Pirate offense not nearly as explosive as in recent years.

I'll say the Pirates drop to 1-2 after the Tomcats leave town.
Best of luck to both!

Belfry should never be underlooked. As good as of a team Ashland is if they come into CAM with the mindset that there already going too win Belfry will show them up. This is going too be a closer game then expected and may even come down too overtime. But with all that said Im going too take Ashland Blazer...

Hard game to call. I have to go with the Pirates in a very close game.

It will be a good game to watch. The pirates is
is getting better ever day it should be a close

Ashland may have the right stuff this year. I look for the Tomcats to score early and then keep the Pirates to low yardage. It will be a good game, however, the pirates will not come out on top. Great experience for both and will make both teams stronger and wiser! Great programs with alot to prove in this game.

I still think Ashland wins this game but I would love to see Belfry kick the crap out of them.
